Peace SC,

Sounds good... I'll be sure to check it out. I recently watched Iron Man and The Forbidden Kingdom, both fun movies. :)

Can't wait for KungFu Panda. ;D

I always sang the chorus as -

We were meant to live for so much more...
but we lost ourselves..

Works either way, I guess.  :)

I have a idea, why for not preparing a meeting this summer for some days, somewhere in this world, personally I prefer Egypt,Tunisia or Turkey,
Isn't it dangerous for such a meeting in Egypt?  ???

Peace Arnab,
Quote from: ArnabWe, as Muslims, agree that there is only one God so what does it matter if you put "the" in front of "God."
I agree with you on this one, as it is the belief that's important. However, I still like to emphasize "the", especially when writing. This is just my personal preference. When writing to a group of people with different beliefs, it's best to clarify, IMO.

Therefore RasulHamsa is not from 'them'?  :bravo:

Peace darcus,
QuoteI will never blindly allow anyone to sway me, this is the thing that gets them, I always ask for evidence when they talk their nonsense and expect me to agree.  I cannot agree to a fallacy.  I cannot agree to the blatant shirk they commit daily.
Is your wife the same way?

Peace darcus,

I read your original post and skimmed through the others. My first thought was what sc wrote... this is between you. your wife and your son. Just knowing where you (both) stand is not enough, IMHO. A line has to be drawn, where others cannot interfere, including religion. The decisions you come to should be between the two of you with your son in mind. But once you let others sway you, and further decide you fate, then I believe you will only end up in regret.

Ask the God for guidance and help, and do what you (both) know to be best for you.

I wish you all the best for you and your family.

Peace 2pac n all,

Excellent question, and well nice answers all around. I'm agreement with Edip on this one that it refers to 'thing'. As in 'you will have anything you want'.

On the other hand, perhaps an example of what happens in this life may apply in the next as well?...  :hmm

9:113. It is not for the prophet and those who believe that they should seek forgiveness for those who have set up partners, even if they are relatives, after it has been made clear to them that they are the dwellers of Hell.

9:114. And Abraham seeking forgiveness for his father was only because of a promise he made to him. But when it became clear that he was God's enemy, he disowned him. Abraham was kind, compassionate.

Peace
