Message depends upon an individual.
It defers from person to person.

It delivers to every individual directly from Allah.
In other words it is called Atiu-Allaha.

Why do we believe that the Quran is from Allah? We find the Answer in 4:82 -


أَفَلَا Then (do) not يَتَدَبَّرُونَ they ponder ٱلْقُرْءَانَ‌ۚ (on) the Quran? وَلَوْ And if كَانَ it had (been) مِنْ عِندِ from غَيْرِ other than ٱللَّهِ Allah, لَوَجَدُواْ surely they (would have) found فِيهِ in it ٱخْتِلَـٰفًا كَثِيرًا much contradiction.

That is what I was trying to explain.
There are many ikhtilaaf in alQuraan hence it cannot be from Allah.

BTW anyone has any aayat saying that alQuraan is from Allah? Please share.

Is it necessary your own language to understand God's order?

Topic is not about understanding Allah's message or order.
No need of a book or a rasool or a nabi to understand Allah's message and to follow it.

By that definition, does that then not mean that the Qur'an was also only sent for the Arabs?

Actually it is, but we can not prevented to read, understand and follow what we like from it.

Whenever I see 14:4 it confirms me that Muhammad was not my Rasool.
I don't have to believe in him. I don't have to follow his teachings.

I don't know why people [who are around me] are not honest to themselves.
They say that they believe in alQuraan fully and also say that they accept each and every word of it, but they simply ignore this aayat.


Please take a look.

14:4  وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا بِلِسَانِ قَوْمِهِ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ ۖ فَيُضِلُّ اللَّـهُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
14:4 And We did not send any messenger except in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

. Muhammad were not sent in my community / people.
. Muhammad did not speak my language.

So, how he can be my Rasool?
He was sent in Arabs, he was a Rasool for Arabs only and not for others.

These are my personal understandings. Please study and seek Allah's guidance. He is 'the best' Guide.

I believe that alQuraan is written based on patterns and styles.
On this basis while studying sura 47 I came across the following:

Please look at the patterns carefully.

Pattern 1

47:1 الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُّوا عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّـهِ أَضَلَّ أَعْمَالَهُمْ
47:2 وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَآمَنُوا بِمَا نُزِّلَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَهُوَ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ ۙ كَفَّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَأَصْلَحَ بَالَهُمْ


Pattern 2

47:1 الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُّوا عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّـهِ أَضَلَّ أَعْمَالَهُمْ

BTW you wanted to mention 48:8 not 48:11 I think.

I have already said to you ,for me ,the hafs version we have today is the original Qoran according to my checking of its numerical composition.

And we do not even need to think, just count the letters/numbers of surahs, verses, words...etc
But thinking is required for understanding the message once we know for sure/are certain GOD has sent a message.

فَلَمَّا نَسُوا مَا ذُكِّرُوا بِهِ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَبْوَابَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ

Did you notice the object of verb? When word "open" is used it needs an object.

When it is in the meaning of conquest, victory it need not an object.

48:1 إِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًا مُّبِينًا
