Salam, Tajmaha,

Masjids can be underground. A friend in Medinnah is gathering queer Muslims in the area and they are turning his house in Mecca into a queer Muslim masjid. Of course, if the rulling party ever finds out, they will all be beheaded... right after salat el jum'ah

In India, women built their own mosque just recently :) Why? Because male chuv was getting a little too out of hand. Now they have their own mosque, imam, khutbah, etc Me thinks that is very sweet :-)

Salam, Dhul,

Interesting how you brushed the verse aside :roll: Let me make it clear to you, one more time;

.... a promise which is binding on Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an ....

Read my lips: IT CANNOT BE BINDING ON GOD IF IT IS JUST FOR ONE COMMUNITY! God sent messengers to EVERY community, but EVERY messenger is for ALL mankind. Their stories, their lives, their holy books-- ALL are for ALL mankind.

Now, let me show you another thing:

In 2:285, a believer is defined by the fact that they believe IN -- amongst other things --  God's BOOKS. Not "book." :-P Not only that they existed or soemthing like that... but that they are eternal testaments of the LORD-- and that in it God judges.... and in that we bind on God.

A'uudu bi-rabbi min el shaitani rajeem-- wa duriyatihi, wa as'habihi... ajma'een! Wa la hawla wa la khuwat elaa billahi el-'alliyun, el-'addeem :!:

Salam, Dhuli,

Read here:

9:111 Surely God has bought of the believers their lives and their property for this, that they shall have the garden; they fight in God's path, so they kill and are killed; a promise which is binding on Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an; and who is more faithful to his promise than God? Rejoice therefore in the pledge which you have made; and that is the mighty achievement.

They are all fractions of the book sent to all mankind.  Had the Gospel or the Torah was soleley for the Jews, then we certainly would not have it as a binding on God, now would we?

And the verses you mentioned to me, for what? A'uudi billah min el qowmin raajimiin

Salam, Dhul,

Actually, the Torah was sent to all mankind. It is just that it was sent to us through the Israelites.

As for David, well you are not going to get it so why bother. You are having much problems with the Qur'an, what the hell am I talking about talking to you about things that are thousands of years older than the 7th-century-brought, mutli-version book that is based on Arab culture.

Salam, Frank,

Yes, queer Muslims have men and women amongst them. But apparently, you are worrying about something you shouldn't worry to begin with. The discussion at hand is whether you think women need to be separated (put back, etc) and why.

Your little sexual thingy failed. We all know women have a whole lot sexual feelings than men. In fact, in parts of the world (including where I myself come from,) they "reduce" women's sexuality...

This reminds me of a line from Christina Aguilera... saying "Must talk too big... to make up for smaller things" ;-)

Salam, br. Frank,

A little scientific truth for you: Women have 10 times more sexual urges than men do. The clitoris, for instances, is far more sexual than the penis. Now you still think women have it easy?

The magazine I edit is for all people--- men and women.

Salam,

So you think the Torah was not sent to all mankind? It depends THROUGH whom it is sent. Muslims that the Qur'an talks about such as David, etc, were not actually Israelite nor Muslim but converted to Judaism/Islam.

And in the Qur'an, when they come to Muhammad, God tells Muhammad they didn't need to since they had the Torah amongst them. Why? Because it is detailed FOR them in their language.

So, why mishmash things?

Salam, Dhul,

You see, the Qur'an makes things 'clear' for Arabs (and those who follow the version of Islam brought by Arabs.) This is why it repeats "Arabic Quranic." And when/if it is not clear enough for the Arabs and Co., they are told to go back to others with other books who can make it more 'clear' for them. Capiche?

Since this thread definitely deviated from the orignal post. Maybe folks can get back to the original one.... and those who want to discuss other stuff can open a new one.

Salam, Frank,

I'm not going to talk about others, but you. You said that you don't need a woman's rear end in your face. HA! That is very rich. Why not stay home then because certainly that is not the spirit of Salat.

What is funny is that you are punishing women for your own weakness. In many parts of the Muslim world, they put the women behind the men. What - say - gives the men the right to think their rear end in women's face is any better than the other way around? Now, now... a reality check, perhaps?
