General Issues / Questions / Gratefulness to God
« on: May 23, 2020, 12:44:16 PM »

About gratefulness towards God.. Before I've been thinking different and I was able to feel grateful in a simple way. I thought that everything I get is mercy and with love from God. After I read some Quran verses, that everything is fitnah I can't have the same feeling anymore. Sometimes it's even given with bad intention.

Some of the examples
Verse 64:15 Your property and children are only a trial (if it's only a trial then it's not simply a gift with love, if it's not a gift or a reward how can you be grateful?)

Verse 39:49 And when adversity touches man, he calls upon Us; then when We bestow on him a favor from Us, he says, "I have only been given it because of [my] knowledge." Rather, it is a trial, but most of them do not know. (If you asked, and it was given to you, but not as a mercy..then how to feel grateful? If you ask a person for help, and they help you, but they feel no good and kind intention towards you how will you feel?)

So my problem now is how can you be grateful if something was not given you with love in the first place, or you cannot be sure about the intention towards you. If you get my point. Imagine your friend gives you a gift, and he says this is only to see if you will be gratefull. How will you feel? Will you be able to be grateful?

General Issues / Questions / Deleting good deeds
« on: May 13, 2020, 02:48:11 PM »

In the holy Quran, there are many verses that say all good deeds will be nullified if a person commits big sin. But in some verses it says that the good deeds of the believers will be nullified (for stuff that are obviously not big sins, technically it's not even sin) like, if they raise their voice above the prophet's voice. My question is, are all good deeds going to be nullified or just some of them.. And also, we are able not to do great sins, like murder. We can protect ourselves from that and losing our deeds, but if even small stuff can be the reason to lose all your deeds then it's impossible to bring anything to the day of judgement. On the other hand, there are verses that say that small sins will be forgiven if we stay away from the big ones. Then this seems like a contradicttion.. Will small sin be forgiven, or it will delete all your good deeds? I'm confused

(Somebody might say raising voice above prophet's voice is a big thing. I agree, but in every day life we say or do stuff without paying attention and we tend to to not make similar mistakes?)

Jinn & the Paranormal / Spiritual reading

Salam everyone

Years ago, one person visited Iran with a group of other people and they went to some school for having lessons about Islam.. One day they were told that in that school there was one teacher who could answer your question from Quran, without you saying your question outloud. I remember, this lady, she asked him in her mind about the marriage of her daughter (who she will marry?), and he looked into the Quran and just said that it is not her right to ask that. Anyway, I'd like to know if anyone has heard about or knows such a person that is alive today..

General Issues / Questions / Seeing spiritual world
« on: May 01, 2020, 06:49:20 AM »

Throughout past years I've heard about some ulema, sufis, arifs, saints etc who were able to see spiritual world and people in their real form. I even know a very respected righteousnes person to whom this happened during hajj, but unfortunately It's not possible to talk to him. This is something that is really important for me and my faith, and I'm not asking out of curiosity (one thing in all these stories and confessions hurt me deeply). So please, if anyone knows someone who is into spirituality and can see humans in real shape let me know..or if you know some valid stories about it, let me know, it would mean a lot.

« on: April 27, 2020, 03:02:25 PM »
Salam people

I'm from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I've been Quran only follower for quite some time not knowing it. Actually I guess I was trying to be. It all just came up naturally somehow and I didn't even know there are others like me.. But unfortunately I never had chance to meet any other Quran only follower. I'd like to find some friends so that we can share our thoughts, experiences..maybe give advices to each other. It's really difficult when you feel you don't fit in anywhere. God bless you all

Salat & Zakat (The Contact & Purification) / The lenght of the salat

Esselamu aleykum everyone

I'd like to ask you guys, since the verse 17:78 says to pray from duluuk al shamsii untill qhasaqi layli, does it mean we have to litteraly stand all that time in prayer. Like, we can't pray for 40min, or 50min or one hour because it would be shortening and it would be praying only the part of this time? Thank you
