Discuss Latest World News / Geo-Politics

Perhaps we can discuss the geopolitical imperatives with all players on the ?grand chessboard? so as to have a 4D view of current events with some depth.

Saudi Is presenting the issue in the Middle East as an Arab Persian thing now with the Houthis being Arab of no concern. They have all the weapons in the world for their co-religionists and none whatsoever for the settler state.

Who buys into this & who has differing perspectives?

Introduce Yourself / Toward a new Development

Perhaps we can begin by trading ideas on what would constitute a wholistic political system. With the advent of 3D printing The so called housing crisis is nonsensical. Homes can be built for $10-15,000. I?d also like to be pointed in the direction of any Muslim permacultualists as this is key in our role as stewards of the mothership earth. & Hemp as everything from nutritious food to sturdy sustainable clothing. Some initial thoughts.

Also the emerging peer to peer economy in tandem with the block chain protocol hold real hope for disintermedization and a decentralised ummah. Pirate Utopias anyone?

Introduce Yourself / Greetings from Alamut

Peace

This is my first time on this forum, Im 19 years old from the UK so I have a lot of views on dawah dudes (as I used to be one) and the effect of the propagation ministry of Saudi turkmen. A lot of my peers have been taken in by the promise of "learning the deen" and the promise of ample provisions and free housing. However the deen is predominately muamalah so the very idea of Islamic economics or Islamic banking always irked me so I was pleasantly surprised to see A European Muslim by the name of Umar Vadillo take these issues head on.

It is telling these dawah dudes come back with a zeal for setting everyone correct when they do nothing but regurgitate what they have been selectively fed. Critical thinking it seems is lacking. Like the fixation that all the companions were good, When one looks at history after the Apostle of G-d passed over it's plain to see that just is not true.

Anyway Intellectually i have found the ideology and methodology wanting to say the least. So I am very pleased to find a forum such as this.

I do wonder though what are some of the broader issues you all have highlighted ? I personally cannot understate the financial system of global integrated markets, usury, neo liberal economics as being a core components for the situation we find ourselves in. Especially going into the new century because I do not believe these systems are inevitable or that it is the end of history or that there is no alternative. If Allah has declared war on RIBA then it's already over and we had better think of alternative routes of development

Every national from Islamic republics to the United States has three things in common. National Debt, Fiat Currency & Central Banks. I will start a thread on this G-d Willing and look forward to stimulating debate
