Bible: Jesus was born in the barn somewhere in the city of Bethlehem while Mary was accompanied by a male companion

Quran: Isa was born in open area under dates tree in Arabian wilderness (arabian story) and Maryam was alone without any male companion.

Conclusion: Jesus WAS NOT Isa. They are of different persons, of different geography of which some people try to assume as a same person.

Peace,

1. AL-HADYA - الْهَدْيَ (Guided/Tamed/Reared) is opposite to  AL-SOYDA - الصَّيْدَ (Wild/Untamed/unreared) animals.

2. AL-HAJJ (literally means "the overcoming" / "get around") is the way of getting around the hunting restriction period of SOYDU AL-BARR - صَيْدُ الْبَرِّ (land based wildlife) by providing alternative food supply of AL-HADYA animals category.

3. AL-HADYA is brought to MAHILLAH (the redistribution centre) in the vicinity of kaabah al-bayt (a prominent residential highland valley) during AR-BA'ATA ASY-HUR

4. 'UMRAH is preparation/administering works prior to HAJJ season arrival. Logically AL-HADYA shall be arranged to arrive to MAHILLAH prior to HAJJ season, so that people don't resort to hunt SOYDU AL-BARR from day 1 of HAJJ season/restriction period started.

5. For AT-TOIFEEN (Foreign Visitors) who participate in HAJJ they need to contribute AL-HADYA. The one who manage to contribute Al-HADYA can stay at least for 2 days at kaabah al-bayt if they are in rush.

6. For AT-TOIFEEN who have nothing to contribute from AL-HADYA, they need to fast minimum 3 days during their stay at kaabah al-bayt and 7 days when they return to their hometown (AYYAMAN MA'DUDAT from minimum 2 days to maximum of 10 days).

7. For AL-QOIMEEN (locals) who have nothing to contribute from AL-HADYA, they need to fast 10 days during the HAJJ season.

Islamic Calendar & Ramadhan. / Re: Hot/"ramadan" Answer

Salam Pazuzu ,

I believe too that rmdh رمض is to indicate a seasonal period , but i personally do not see that is about the period of maximum heat , the word ramdhaan is following too the pattern fa3lan  explained below :

Mean that the rmdh رمض has accrued and expended to reach it's maximum , then the rmdh رمض will finish after reaching the stage of its fullness . So yes the term shahr Ramadan is pointing to the period where the rmdh رمض has reached its maximum.

This thread theory believe that Ramadhan is the scorching heat period  , i personally don't think so and i will inshaA allaah try to prove that from the Quran and connected to other evidence .

The whole theory of the period of Ramadan and the concept and nature and the length of  the fast is not consistent according to this thread and need major reviewing so we come inchaA allaah to the better understanding , with respect to the sincere effort ,study and research of who contributed to uncover the veils about this topic , and may allaah reward them for their sincere effort and guide us all to what is nearer to this in comprehension .

Peace Al-Kitab

What about superlative of ra-mim-dhad" which is "armadh" vs "ramadhan"

"Armadh" shall be "the most scorching" or "the hottest" the form similar to:

akbar
asfal
asghar

May i know what is the core difference between these two form of derivative.

Pilgrimage (Hajj) / Re: hajj / feast / debate
March 20, 2013, 08:46:41 PM
Quote from: truthseeker11
From PRL:

= Haa-Jiim-Jiim = to intend to a certain target, aim at, repair, undertake, repaired/betook himself to or towards a person / place / object of veneration/respect/honour, went/visit frequently/repeatedly, pilgrimage.
Overcome another by/in argument/evidences/proofs/testimonies, plead, contend/argue/dispute.
Refrain/abstain.

I would rather choose "Hajj" = "Overcome Another by" due to the fact that hajj season provide alternative meat supply during the restricted 4 full moon period for hunting wild life, promoted by Prophet Ibrahim (p) inside & surrounding Beit al-haram.

The business, conference, meeting - resulting from the hajj season - are the spillover effect of this divine instruction.

In short, Prophet Ibrahim hajj (overcame/circumvent/bypass) the hunting restriction.

Peace & Regards

Quote from: Wakas on November 05, 2012, 03:16:05 PM
22:25 Surely, those who have rejected/concealed and hinder from the path of God and al masjid al haram which We made for mankind, equal are the devotee/attached/resident in it and the bedouin/visitor/traveller, and whoever intends/wishes in it deviation (or) wrongdoing, We will make him taste from painful retribution.

This verse causes some problems for the 'institution/act/place of SJD' understandings. For example, the Sacred Mosque in Mecca is not open to mankind (only those classed as "Muslim"); and as far as I am aware no-one resides in the Mosque. If it is argued they did reside there in the past but not now, then there is no warrant for this in AQ. Not surprisingly, some commentators regard AMAH as referring to the sanctuary and/or Mecca as a whole. In terms of 'act/institution of SJD' the terms "akifu/devotee/resident" and "baadi/bedouin/visitor" would require explanation.

Dear bro Wakas,

Imho, there is no issue about AMAH as the location or in my rendering "the restricted service center" (or they might be other better phrase to describe) because:

1. "those who concealed كَفَرُو and obstruct وَيَصُدُّو" is really happening now in terms of promoting wrong location of mekkah/masjid/kaabah, as well promoting wrong understanding about Hajj and its associated rituals, which go against the path of Allah.

2. AMAH can smoothly meant as public service center to mankind at that particular ABAH (Al-bayt Al-Haram) because people of different faith, inside/outside ABAH should be able to came there and get their livestock supply distribution (which is available in abundant) during HAJJ (Overcoming) period. HAJJ among others mean "overcoming the restricted wild life hunting period with alternative food supply which is livestock".

3. It was made known to people inside/outside/surrounding ABAH about prophet Ibrahim campaign, not to hunt wild life for few months in a year. They came to AMAH to participate by contributing for some as well consuming for some. From therewith the words of Allah and the believe in god spread to the entire region.

4. Off course if they came from far (baadi/traveller), they need to stay for few days, erect their tents and stay surrounding the service center (masjid). Prophet Ibrahim saw, is welcoming people from all kind of beliefs to the service center because he was entrusted with the task to preach God laws. Words of Allah spread from this center.

5. "Akif" imho here is the one who stay close and inside the service center eg. especially to the poor traveler, as well the administration team, that need to work hard to manage the situation throughout the hajj period. There must be a proper management headed by Prophet Ibrahim saw and its support team. Subsequently during the time of prophet Muhammad, this center was also managed/controlled by polytheist/disbeliever mixed up with wrongdoings as time goes by.

There's nothing holy about AMAH. This hajj things must be managed from the command center (AMAH). It will not happen smooth without proper management in place.

Peace,
Ashraf

Salaam,

I guess bro Wakas concern are:

1. Does terminology "al-masjid al-haram" (AMAH) is TIME applicable usage eg. during Hajj period ? (due to Hajj element in 9:19)

or

2. Does terminology "masajid Allah" is TIME applicable eg. outside hajj period ? (No mention of Hajj in 9:17 and 9:18)

indeed, there was abrupt change from "MASJIDs only" (general-plural) in 9:17 & 18 to "al-masjid al-haram" (specific-singular) in 9:19 when "HAJJ" were introduced in 9:19

My analysis:

1. There are many instances of AMAH was related to Shahral Haram, Hajj & Livestock but not all AMAH was related to Shahral Haram, Hajj & Livestock as i could evaluate from 2:144, 2:149, 2:150, 17:1)

2. AMAH exist as long as ABAH (al-bayt al-haram) exist. ABAH is the specific settlement/hometown being referred in 5:2 of which their citizens were able to enforce hunting restriction law. AMAH is subset of ABAH, the way i see it.

3. The believers in 5:2 above, were the citizen of ABAH (the settlement area) because they are the ones who were instructed to observed the hunting restriction law and be ready with livestock supply (hajj) for the consumption by the toifin and the qoimin.

4. During the Hajj months the toifin (non citizens of bayt/non locals) and the qoimin (citizens of bayt/locals) will congregate in ABAH to witness the benefit/bounty of livestock which was broughtdown to mankind, remember Allah names (zikrullah ayyamin ma'dudah), do business, learn the restriction law, provide water services (siqayah) to visitors, food planning etc.

5. The instruction to the believers, as well to ta-ifin & qa-imin, not to do rafas (any sexual provocations), fusuq (any evil provocations) and jidal (any debate provocations) was because there were congregations of people. These 3 things normally happen when they were many people of different gender, intentions and thinking level, flocking together in one place.

6. The OBSTRUCTION (َصَدُّوكُمْ عَنِ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ) imposed to the believers in 5:2 and 48:25 was over access to AMAH (the service center), not ABAH (the settlement).

Best regards.

Salam,

Lets consider my 2 cents and I am open to correction :-)

1. AMAH - Comprise of 2 words, AL-MASJID & AL-HARAM

2. My rendering of AL-MASJID is THE SERVICE CENTER. SJD = SERVICE was what i could comprehend from 1st SJD citation in 2:34 " وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ وَاسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ " where Allah instruct Malaikat to commit services to adam (mankind). Iblees was declining upfront from committing any services, except disservice.

3. This service center was also frequented and joint managed by Musyrikeen as per 9:17 "مَا كَانَ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ أَن يَعْمُرُوا مَسَاجِدَ اللَّـهِ".

4. Not all MASJID is HARAM. It qualify as HARAM only when it is located within BAYT HARAM geographical boundary. MASJID is child location to BAYT parent location. In my opine, MASJID AQSA is another MASJID located just outside BAYT HARAM boundary.

5. AQSA is a distant attribute but not that far in a geographical sense for example in the usage of 36:20 "وَجَاءَ مِنْ أَقْصَى الْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلٌ يَسْعَىٰ" or 19:22 "فَحَمَلَتْهُ فَانتَبَذَتْ بِهِ مَكَانًا قَصِيًّ"

6. MASJID AQSA was not qualify as HARAM most probably because the MASJID was located in lawless or in wilderness area outside the BAYT (permanent settlement area).

7. MASJID is public service center in comparison to MIHRAB which is private. You are suggested to be, "well dress" يَا بَنِي آدَمَ خُذُوا زِينَتَكُمْ عِندَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ, every time you are at MASJID or Undertake necessary self defense if being attack. You cannot do sex in public service center "وَلَا تُبَاشِرُوهُنَّ وَأَنْتُمْ عَاكِفُونَ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ"

8. BAYT or BEIT (Ba-Ya-Ta variant) is a settlement or hometown. Please search "BEIT YEMEN" or "BEIT ISRAEL" in wikipedia and you can see the usage of BEIT to denotes settlement in South arabian linguistic & socio cultural usage of the word.

9. BAYT (waizjalna bayt) is permanent (masabah) settlement/hometown (bayt) for mankind (linnas), a secure place (amna)....

Best & Peace.

Salam,

Kiswah is the clothing that covers the "Kaabah" in present Mekkah. Only in 1930s, the factory or facility to produce Kiswah was initiated by Saudi Government. Later in 1972, the new modern factory was officiated by King Fahd Ibn Abd Saud.

Prior to these years, Kiswah was imported from Yemen (South Civilization) and Egypt (Nile Civilization).

This fact shows that present Mekkah is relatively teething and backward in term of industrialization achievement. In short present Mekkah is :

1.  Disqualified from Ummul Qura Status Quo
2.  Disqualified from "Ancient" Status Quo
3.  Lack of Skill Artisan and Skill Manpower and tools, which related to 1
4.  A relatively new city center.

Kiswah factory/industry which provide key indicator of civilization status was not exist until 1930s.  Any input appreciated.

peace & regards.
