Title: No thought State Or the God state
Post by: shamsul-arefin on December 19, 2016, 07:29:14 AM
Hello everyone....

After going through God alone Study for decade now I am into Spiritual Sadhana which has given me lot of deep answers about the self and existence.  I came across the discussion of No thought state before but I couldn't grasp it before. But its been over 6 months that I have managed to get a grasp of this state and its starting to make sense..... Now The understanding of God relating with the self makes alot of sense to me. Only in this way I can dissolve the separation between the creator and the created. Infact it gave  whole new meaning to the understanding of self realization and also knowing the self.

So I am quit interested to know if anyone in this forum have come to the same point in knowing the self or understanding God state or should I say no thought state. I would like to share few videos of some gurus who are considered to be awakened beings  ... so pls share your thoughts..

If you had been active previously in this forum (the past 5 years) you would see I share a similar although perhaps not identical view.

People here repel me for saying it, but there is a remnant in Persian for the phenomen since the root with KH and D, Khoda, refers linguistically to the self. And my wife is Iranian and knowledgeable about Old Persian and I have had interesting discussions with an insightful Iranian in Iran. We could not find another answer than that the very old remnant word for God in Persian stems from the word of referring to the self.

Furthermore, if we delve into linguistics, Khod-ro is the modern word for car in Persian and means "self-moving".

There is a similar thing forgotten due to clerical dogma in Arabic and that is Elah. Elah is اله and logically it is AL prefix and Heh suffix (third person) and together it would literally but simplified translate "the who". That is for us who ignore clerical dogma. The others think there is a root called Alef-Lam-Heh and means god. Allah is not much more complicated but expanded to mean "the who like", e.g. Allah al-hakeem "who is being wise". That word is used in an entirely improper way today.

In essence it refers to one's Being as a person. Life is all about Being (or actually becoming). It is who you are which is important. And to be doing what is right to means be assimilated into the unity of being (allah ahad), i.e. so to say the oneness of God as we would put it. The test is to reject the false self which is your body and its accompanying innate Satan (the instinct) and that using your bestowed intelligence and potential of your individual "seed" (share of God's supremacy).

Satan is no more than what the body desires. You can see mankind's strongest desires and their given remedy by Moses and elaboration by Jesus.

1. Dominate = Do not defeat/kill
2. Wish to have what others have socially = No jealousy
3. Sex drive = No illicit/vain sex and Jesus "do not even look upon a woman with desire"
4. Look after self and own kin (survival of the fittest mentality) = Treat your neighbor as yourself
5. Desire to benefit self = Do not lie
6. Greed = Theft/illicit gains by exploitation of someone (more common than you may think)
7. Being absorbed by various activities = Hold a/the Sabbath day

The three remaining directives I do not comment at this time. They are misinterpreted severely in historical understanding. These instincts here we can put forth immediately as referring to the innate instinct in man and they are reflected in the ancient decree.

It is improperly called a law, but how do you make a jurisdiction for "no jealousy"? It is a guide, like an instruction for betterment and not a zealous law.

Sex and violence and man's greatest passion can be seen immediately in our daily lives. Reflect on how many romantic and violent movies there are. We love seeing the good one violently give retribution to those who hurt him and it is that we wish to see the better defeat the worse. We have the same expectations when we see a game between who parts. Many people love to play action games where you run around shooting people to win preferably in the head with an AK-47. Yet we know the horrors of war and actually being wounded by such rifle. When we defeat we sense an immense satisfaction, so much we actually miss how horrible it is. It is just a game people might say, but the fight to defeat is there instinctively.

Same for people who are hunters and take joy in killing animals with a hunting rifle. The point and thrill in the hunting for the prey, mastering the prey, is instinctive.

One of the missing directives that I mentioned above is pride. Much of what we do in our lives is due to pride. When we win we feel pride and if we have no conscience left and we exploit someone we may feel pride for our success at what we do. There is pride among thieves who is the best one too. This is why the directive is higher up on the ancient list.

Be well
Amenuel

Really liked your post, just wanted a small clarification from your side. Life is all about becoming what?
