I can't believe it even if I think about it myself, I am the first and only quran only Muslim in Korean history! So there's so much I want to say here... I have no idea what to say first. Korea is such an Islamic barren that even major (Sunny, Shia) Muslims are so small that the National Statistical Office and mosques have no idea how many Muslims have Korean citizenship. By the way, I'm sorry I'm not telling you good news, but fundamentalist missionaries sponsored by the Gulf are often seen in the Korean Islamic world... Three-fifths of Koreans (mainly Sunni) Muslims are brainwashed by Wahhabism, so I feel complicated whenever I think about them. Anyway...I've only met feudalistic mind snobs who talk nonsense for three years since I learned of the Islam. I'm glad that a conversation about "real Islam" is possible here. I don't even know how to end the sentence... Ask me any questions!

Having said that,  why you say that you are the only one while God knows the hearts of people.. People won't say everything they do or they believe.. 

No one is Quranist or Quran alone muslim on this Earth.. Just Muslims... Yes follow God's book go enhance and get convinced...  Buy you can be a Muslim without a book even... But every believer Allah will definitely make a path towards His book so that he gets to know the law..

it's hard to explain every reasons why i was interested in islam.... but i'd like to tell you that the what kind of underlying conditions had allowed all of happens
first of all, china and korea and vietnam and japan are strongly influenced by confucianism and taoism (like western civilization influenced by christanism and greek culture) that including hard-skeptism against believing divine powers...... (citation: confucius said: 子不語怪力亂神)
so most of korean people living with at least moderate level of nihilism and thinking life is meaningless......
and i was born to be a literally contrarian person.... and that two condition made me got a lot of favor to 'severe monotheism'

So you were kind of inbetween person and that propelled you to choose monotheism?  Is that so.. But why Quran?  Isn't there any other monotheism or such books?  What made you to approach Quran?

I empathized that Wahhabism has found their grasp in Korean peninsula.
Yet I think it's a good experience for you, as for every thing there is an opposite.

You've asked about 'real islam', well islam is an attitude and not a religion / cult / occult / sect / social identity.
Once you look at it from those lenses, then you will find that many prominent ancient figures such as Jesus, Siddhartha and Lao Tse recommend such attitude.

Among the characteristic of islam attitude are: compassion, frugality, and humility.
And perhaps even among Korean's native traditions there are recommendations for the above attitude.
Thus many koreans have practiced the attitude of islam in their daily life, without naming it islam.

"The servants of the Most Compassionate are those who walk on the earth humbly, and when the foolish address them ˹improperly˺, they only respond with peace."

Yes...  I do agree with brother Jafer.. All what Allah our Creator wants from us to follow His path... Disciplined life in general accomplishes that command to 95%.. On top of that as far as I know about South Koreans they are one of the disciplined nations / people in the world.. I have experienced it with them... Rituals on a religion won't make a person become disciplined life... But his intention to be good to self and others makes him disciplined person.. This is so inbuilt in human if they practice it..
But what is missing in Koreans is guidance from God and the faith in Him so that God propels them towards His messages... This is what missing in most of disciplined people on the earth... They took the disciplined life for their own betterment so they can live peacefully...  But peaceful life won't let them go to their ultimate goal...
Anyway mere faith won't be enough without disciplined life..
So in a nutshell, people on this earth other than evil ones has chosen either disciplined life without faith or faith without disciplined  life... And very few have chosen both.. Faith plus disciplined life... Real faith has no association....
