Peace

Would you marry someone you do not love?

Wouldn't it be healthier for a marriage to start off with love even before marriage?
'These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement (hadith) after Allah and His verses will they believe? (45:6)'

good logic

Moses married someone he just met briefly.
I suppose one can have "love" at first sight.
Or does love grow as friendship grows ?
Or does it all depend on our destiny , luck, soul mate...etc

It just shows that we are not really in control, but it is nice to plan with sincerity and trust in GOD, for believers anyway.
I guess however, that if you know someone and you are sure you do not love them, do not marry them until there is a change for the better.
GOD bless you.
Peace.

amin

many marriages are arranged by parents even without seeing one other and after marriage love happens? Marriage is a life long commitment, agreement, sacrifice and one who commits to such a long standing relationship definitely needs love.

Scrappy-doo

Peace and Greeting to all! What a whoop whoop question! Easy for me to answer at least. YES! As long as he believed in One God and the reading as guidance, loving kindness and oh oh so so so patient with me, then that's the affirmative, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! ♥
