What will it take for Quranists to form our own community?

Peace,

What kind of motivation will it take for Quranists to get off their butts and create an exemplar community for all to see, an examplar community physically, infrastructurally and economically? What will it take for us to realize that the best way to lead is by example. We need to form our own working organizations exemplifying how the Quran is to be followed (voluntarily and with a love for God and each other). The Quran was meant to bring forward an organization of His loyalists, not mini-empires which we know as states.

peace Anwar,

Out of curiousity, in terms of pragmatism/practicality do you see what you are suggesting as the most sensible way forward?
All information in my posts is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should seek knowledge and verify: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11. My articles

What would motivate me? if we could address all these issues:

1. The majority of Quranists/Free-Minders must recognize it as their main "physical" community and support it. That way people will have no doubts that their relocation will not be useless(having to relocate all the time)
2. There needs to be a plan to get everyone there (Visa issues etc.) We must support the members who may not be financially or Legally able to relocate but are willing to.
3. A system by which we would implement policies (democracy is possible)
4. We need to set up law enforcement. That must always uphold the Quran and that means carrying out all the punishments for adultery, stealing etc.
5. We need to offer people a way to feed themselves. We might need to start some farms etc.
6. A way to offer people electricity and Internet/phone to keep in contact with the outside world.
7. We need a fair system of taxation if the Quran doesn't already have one.
8. We need protection because there may be attacks on the community.
9. We need hospitals and sanitation. Waste Disposal.

Mostly we need to be patient as theres are many issues that need to be worked out and once we have a thorough plan... if God wills it I would relocate. It will definitely take time and a huge effort.

Peace

I believe there was a quote "To continue a war (in this case a country/community) three things are needed, money, money, and yet more money."

the thing that maybe working against us is the diversity; we're from all over the globe and its a lot harder to estabish a community because of that now of course if one of us was bill gates........one can always hope  :sun:

Peace to all,

Progod,  Im working on implementing this God/Quran alone community already,  aalmakto, my community already has everything you list that is needed in our new community.  We have all the infrastructure, we have a medical clinic, our own police department( im the Chief of Police)  we have our own school, etc,  all I need is for some good honest God believing, Quran believing muslims to help transform this community into one that will be an example for the world.

I will let you all know more soon, we are having elections in about 4 months, if I win a seat I will be able to implement the changes needed much easier,  we also have many jobs available if anyone needs one,

I will keep you all posted,

Kurt

4 and 7 bother me. I don't think we should look at the compensations we pay for crimes we commit as punishments but as compensations, which we willingly to submit to as long as we want to belong the the Quranist community. I think the issue of this being a community of the willing should be highly emphasized. As far as police is concerned I don't think there is a full need for it. I think we should police ourselves, and the concept of oolool-amr should not be people with the power to command but people who willingly take responsiblity for an issue in our society (being able to dedicate themselves to it) and they shoudl be respected for this. We shouldn't use this word police as the Quran law and order is not forced on us. People who want to play an active role in keeping the peace should be called just that 'peacemakers.' Remember we are not looking for a ministate we are looking towards an organized cooperative community of God's faithful who adhere to the Quran.

As well as taxes. I don't think this should be considered taxes. Instead it should be a voluntary plan of contribution. We all agree to contribute to our community as best we can working with each other and working out the plan of disbursement meaning (ensuring that everyone sees an equal disbursment of services whether they are able to contribute more or less)

Protection just involves a security plan for wherever we may be and in my opinion all should be briefed, trained  and cooperate in necessary security measures. This also involves forming good relations with our neighbors.

Also there is no need for one sole locations. These communities can be as local as possible. I don't expect everyone from Saudi Arabia to up and move have way accross the world, unless they are unable to form a Quranist community in their area. I think the best scenario would be a Quranist community per population density. That means if there are 5 Quranists in the whole USA then yeah they should find a place to congregate on. However if their is a sizeable Quranist population per relative area then they should build a congregation point within that area.

However, convening on one place with the right infrastructure to support everyone would lead to the building of the community faster and inspiration for other areas.

Ironsky are you serious? If so please go into details.
