Peace,

Today I am grateful to God for:

1.  Great gatherings to celebrate the completion of Ramadan

2.  Patience

3.  The wife given to me by God to help me and keep me company.

4.  For my Mother who is no longer with me.

God bless

The wife given to me by God to help me and keep me company.

That's sweet, brother hawk.  May God bless you both.

Salām.

Man of Faith

Peace,

As of lately I am grateful for:

1. Dreams about God
2. Provisions from God
3. Contentment
4. Perceived nearness to God
5. Justice has been served through God (private matter)
6. Friendly neighbors
7. Friendly boss
8. Better ability to control emotions
9. Muscles responding well to training
10. God keeping me strong during hardship
11. Some forum members getting more spiritual and knowledgeable.

Thanks dear Master for all you do for me and those who properly regard You.

Let me be whole and return as such

I'm grateful for:

Gravity, making me able to walk the earth.
The presence of oxygen in the universe: making me able to breath
The replication process of my bodily cells: keeping me alive even though it means I need to cut my nails and hair from time to time.
...
I'll cut the crap and get to the point...

I can continue this list endlessly, I dont feel like making a summary because what in this reality should we not be thankful for?  If I make a list that ends somewhere, I feel like I have forgotten so many other things.

Man of Faith

Okay. But reminding yourself of the small things in life can have a huge push. My list could also be very long, but these are highlights the past time.

Salaam

I'm grateful for knowing that Allah doesn't mind if I call Him "God".

Thanks dear God. You are the Most Awesome.

Peace,

I am grateful to God for the humbling and purifying aspects of zakat which like Salat helps me stay
mindful of my agreement with my sustainer and the knowledge that what I have is not mine but is only
loaned to me as a test.

God bless
