Adding 1 odd number and one even number to the total or taking away one of each still leaves the two totals the same.
What is the significance of 3118 0r 3117  if you take 6236 or 6234? And does every verse fit  with the big total of all the verses from 1 to 114 ?

3 chapters = 100 x 100 x 100 = 100^3 = 1,000,000!

10 chapters = 100^10 = 1e+20 (20 zeros) 100,000 trillion!
27 chapters = 100^27 = 1e+54 extremely large number!

the above also applies to 30 even-even chapter/verses.

57 chapters = 100^57 = 1e+114 (subatomic particles in visible universe some say only ~1e+80)

if looking for a mathematical miracle simply read study inheritance verses like the extra meem in the verse below without which we would not know who to payoff first and equations would all fall apart.

FYI.. I always believe that chapter 9:128-129 is not part of Quran after reading the researchers made by initially Dr.  Rashad Khalifa... For whatever reason those researches convinced me and I am happy with it.. May Allah forgive me if they are part of Quran.. That's my personal choice..

BTW.. Brother GL.. Yes.. I know it won't make any difference.. But you may see there are many glaring researches pertaining to numerical pattern in Quran is being unearthed..  For example letter THA.. And being the centered letter in especially chapter THA HA'.. They are definitely miraculous researches.. But what if there were a single Tha in verses 9:128-129 ... Most of these researchers are not Quran alone  .but mostly conventional Muslims who even follow hadith...  So for my personal satisfaction I verify those verses as well..

Anyway who knows best than God...
