An atheist who doesn't believe in God or a satanist who believes in God and is not an atheist yet thinks satan is the true God? Also, what are atheists described as in the Qur'an? They can't be idolators because they don't worship idols. So rejectors of God?

I am not familiar with the term "satanist" (what is their teaching? why are they called satanist?) so I cannot comment on them.

In Quran, we are told that the group that will be at the bottom is hypocrites.

[4:145] Verily, the hypocrites shall be in the lowest depth of the fire, and thou wilt find none who could succour them.

Satanist is an umbrella term and doesn't define the different beliefs of Satanist whom many don't actually believe in Satan.

The Quran speaks about both atheists and people who worship Satan. Which is worse I would lean towards atheists since they deny basic human intuition.
