Peace fellow members,

A revolution (regime change) is not desirable and not possible in Iran. To put it in another way, pursuing regime change in Iran is counterproductive (it harms more than it helps) and its impractical (the demonstrators don't have the necessary means to achieve a revolution in that country).

However, reforms are necessary with the purpose of resolving the current crisis in that country. Case in point: Iran's law regarding mandatory Hijab is currently under review (please check this link).

Nice article. I also want to add my view is that You may call it Islamic Reformation but what I have seen is people want freedom (in the sense to copy western values; dresses, liquor, bars, freedom of speech, etc.etc.) on the ground. Like in turkey many modern people do not believe in practising islam if that is what you mean by Islamic reformation
