Plenty here:

http://misconceptions-about-islam.com/
Or even a link to the latter site.
Greetings and Peace, all
I'd be interested in new articles that refute supposed errors in the Qur'an.
Some sources for material to refute would be from
https://wikiislam.net/wiki/Main_Page
or
http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/quran/
or any other source really.
I postulate that by posting refutations on these other boards, it is likely to broaden exposure to the Qur'an as a source of knowledge...even if it also gets this website troll traffic. Maybe that is a test of sorts--but ISA it can also help true seekers.
True gold fears no fire. Maybe pick a supposed contradiction or error and we can kick it around as a topic for a few weeks before summing up? :hmm

What I have understood is that most of those (mainly jews, Christians and their past believers) who are irritated by the sectarians know the truth. Their notion is that we are a minority and thus, no one from the majority will accept our clarifications. It is like their problem is with mainstream Islam.
WikiIslam is by exmuslims. Unfortunately, it is kinda useless to correct their errors. They left sect, but not the sectarian mentality. In fact, the ones I spoke to so far now seem to be hardcore atheist mullahs.
Salam Layth,
https://www.free-minds.org/node/221
There is a typo in the article:
"The tale of Gog & Magog appears in the Hebrew Bible centuries ago (being understood as persons or tribes, and even land), whilst Zul Qarnain has been linked to figures such as Alexander the Great. Over the centuries, any undesirable people have been labeled as God & Magog: the Vikings, Huns, Khazars, Mongols, Turanians, and most recently, the Chinese."
I believe the bold one should be "Gog & Magog".
Wassalam,
Ade
Txs - fixed now.
Does anyone know of an article which lists the reasons Quran gives for communities going astray (and perhaps people for that matter)?
Salam, brother wakas!
I think there is no need of an article. The only reason is mentioned in 18:17
w/salaam,
Nah, I prefer something more in-depth because it would be nice to have reference/checklist to ensure one does not fall into the same traps. A simple article kind of like this one (http://mypercept.co.uk/articles/Quran-crime-punishment-expiation.html).
Salam!
Do not know about a specific article of your choice, however, you may find some ayah references or a few notable points in below article:
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.newageislam.com/islam-and-pluralism/ziaur-rahman-new-age-islam/kafir-and-mushrik-in-the-light-of-the-quran/d/102546&ved=2ahUKEwij5Oel1fPsAhWOYsAKHQpZC5gQFjACegQIKxAI&usg=AOvVaw3Gg1-mNNIbNmfPws7s4ARV&cshid=1604864331597
Hope it would be of a little help.
Peace!
