I am writing an article titled 'Is Alcohol-Free Beer Halal or Haram?'

I do not follow the Islamic faith, but I would love to gain a deeper understanding of this topic to give a true representation.

If by "no alcohol" means there is 0% alcohol, then it is a type of fruit/veg/grass juice . If fermented ,then alcohol is taken out 100% ,it is the same.
Therefore all types of non alcoholic drinks are just different types of juices.
So no issue will arise . They do not get the person intoxicated.
