Download & Installation Methods:

Recommended - Direct to phone (Over The Air): Open your phone's WAP browser and type "www.free-minds.org/wap" as the address then choose "Install" from there. This method uses your network operator's data service (GPRS) so they will probably charge you for the data transfer costs - network and subscription dependent.

Manual Installtion via PC: Download TheMessage.jar to your PC then you can either send this file to your mobile phone via Bluetooth or install it using the data cable and PC Suite software provided by your phone manufacturer. On some mobile phones, you may also need this jad file to install via its pc-software: TheMessage.jad (Please refer to your phone's manual about installing mobile Java applications: J2ME)


About
This is a mobile java (j2me) software for reading "The Message" directly on mobile phones.

(Please help test it on your mobiles and please report the results along with your questions and comments in this thread in the forums.)

Targeted devices: All Java-enabled mobile phones & PDAs that do not limit the jar size to smaller than this "TheMessge.jar" file: 351 KB.
Tested on Nokia 3650, Nokia 6630, Nokia 3250, Nokia E61, Nokia E51, Nokia 7370, Motorola L6, Motorola V3i, Sony Ericsson W850i, Sony Ericsson K750i, Samsung A900 Blade and Samsung SGH-D900.
In theory, almost all new java-enabled phones/PDAs, 3G phones, high-end phones, Symbian phones, should be able to use this program.

Note: This program takes some time to load, please be patient and wait after pressing its icon from the application menu.

- Changed the whole data indexing/data storage system, now the program is only 351 KB (the old system was 1.4 MB!). The program also launches much faster.
