Peace
Thank you for the detailed answers.
'In short, the good live a more beautiful and paradisiacal life in this world than the bad.
But some good people also have some bad sides. They pay for them with some hardships in this world and with a lower rank in paradise.'
But if that's so, then why do we see people like the Kardashians living life with ease esp. financially? I mean, I'm not saying they're evil people. They have a good side and everything isn't so black and white but we know people who are believers and aren't living as easily? Or other celebrities etc.
What better example of prophets and we all know what they went through in their lives.
It is very difficult to generalize an answer to your query. I find many verses in Quran in support of both (Good people will live peacefully in this life and bad people will suffer and the reverse too). I stopped looking and comparing others and focus on attaining peace inside. God knows best explanations for those examples you mentioned.
“Verily in the remembrance of Allah, hearts find rest.” (13: 28)
Some of the verses i meant:
O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient” (Quran,2:153).
[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed – and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving.” (Quran, 67:2)
“And We have sundered them in the earth as [separate] nations. Some of them are righteous, and some far from that. And We have tried them with prosperity and adversity in order that they might return.” (Quran, 7:168)
So let not their wealth or their children impress you. Allah only intends to punish them through them in worldly life and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are disbelievers. Quran 9:55
Also, they say: "Why is not this Qur'an sent down to some leading man in either of the two (chief) cities?"
Is it they who would portion out the Mercy of thy Lord? It is We Who portion out between them their livelihood in the life of this world: and We raise some of them above others in ranks, so that some may command work from others. But the Mercy of thy Lord is better than the (wealth) which they amass.
And were it not that (all) men might become of one (evil) way of life, We would provide, for everyone that blasphemes against ((Allah)) Most Gracious, silver roofs for their houses and (silver) stair-ways on which to go up,
And (silver) doors to their houses, and thrones (of silver) on which they could recline,
And also adornments of gold. But all this were nothing but conveniences of the present life: The Hereafter, in the sight of thy Lord is for the Righteous.
Quran 43:31-35
In the end, (in the background of the example you gave of some folks) A person could be the most handsome and the most richest in the world but without due guidance all of it is meaningless. If your friend doesn't have guidance, what are you jealous for? In fact, you should be feeling pity for them and desiring he/she/they finds guidance.
I feel that if we find examples in life where so called bad people (because god knows the truth) appear to enjoy life and then die without being guided for Islam (submission to Allah). We should feel sorry for such people because this life is temporary and the forever life is the real one.
thanks
