Back to the point, there is nothing wrong in breeding and slaughtering animals, if done in the most merciful way possible. It is possible to slaughter animals, without inflicting too much pain. Not all methods of breeding and slaughtering animals are terrible.

Salaam BA,

What do you mean by too much here? Can you please elaborate? Why would Allah need to give even little pain to poor animals? Is there no way that we can eat them without giving them any pain? Yes, there is, please check 22:36

Allah surely don't allow the ways shown in that video. That was very disturbing, the killers of those birds and animals are not humans they themselves are beasts (animals).  :brickwall:

May Allah increase us in knowledge and guide us to His true path  :pr

Selam,

I have given this a lot of thought (couldn't sleep yesterday because of the problem). Of course I give my greatest thanks to all who gave answers to the question. In the end I came up that:
1. It is natural for us to eat animals, we have carnivore teeth. However, the way animals are treated on today's farms is absolutely unacceptable, therefore as a form of a protest I do not eat it at all. Also, moderation is important . in my household , meat is eaten nearly everyday. I hold the same belief that mass production should be possible to stop trough moderation. I think it is healthy to eat meat 2 day a week, but I'm unsure, that's what I've heard somewhere. Also I do not think that young animals that are to be eaten should be killed but at the edge of their life, but not too old, or filled with disease; because as Allah said , animals form communities like humans and I believe everyone should have a right to establish a family before being slaughtered.

2. I think that the formless one gave us an amazing choice that other animals can't make, we can choose not to eat meat; some sufis did practice vegetarianism , by the way.

Anyway, sorry for the confusion, I used to be on this forum but I harshly deleted my account because I thought I wouldn't comeback to Islam. I was wrong therefore I created another acount under the same name. Sorry for any confusions.

Peace and good day. :sun:   I am very satisfied with my conculsions, and they wouldn't be possible without this forum community , thank you!  ;)

Why exactly would you need to change faith just because you want to be a vegetarian or more conscious about eating animals?

Nothing in Islam stops you from being a vegetarian and there is no religion of vegetarianism.

Trying to understand your thought process.

Basically, a cow has flat teetch because they only eat grass. But we have thos sharp teeth in front, called inscisors I believe, in English. Aditionally the teeth form a zig-zaggy shape, which further helps to decompose meat. Our stomach is adapted to eat meat. Like it adapted itself to drink milk and stuff.
