How to get a Dua/Prayer answered?
« on: July 12, 2012, 02:43:04 AM »
Assalamu alaikum All!

Need your help to understand how we can seek divine interventation in our lives...few months back i fell ill, iam undergoing the treatment but the illness has affected my physical appearance & mental peace as well. Iam in a state where apart from keeping faith & positive attitude i cannot do much to change my condition. But sometimes it is difficult to remain so hopefull & optimistic al the time. My question is does Dua/prayer help in changing one's condition or is everything a matter of cause & effect? Iam trying to keep myself busy in understanding Quran & trying to be a true & good  'muslim' .... is there any such thing as receiving healing through faith in 'Allah' ? Please, would be helpful to receive some motivation to remain hopeful of the future.

Dua is not prayer and prayer is religious and has nothing to do with Islam.
What illness do you have? Some illnesses' cures are hidden by the sovereign Jinn (psychopaths)

Peace Kaiokenred,

By dua/prayer i do not mean any ritualistic prayer or salaat...jus a way of trying to connect to 'The Creator'. Is it possible to ask 'The Creator' not any 'diety' to help us through an affliction? that is my question

I didnt understand this, could you please  elaborate ?

It is possible but worthless as nothing's gonna happen.

As for the last question, for example how Cancer's cure is hidden because they make a lot of money from it

Post your references from the Quran, going around saying ridiculous nonsense for attention will not suffice here.

Have you even actually studied what dua means in the quran? Or do you incessantly post everything from servant of light without study?

Frankly, anyone who claims that 'prayer' is not part of The quran or Islam hasn't read the book or studied it in any fashion. Because the notion, exegetically, is nonsensical.

lol @ jinn = psychopaths.

Again, have you even studied jinn for yourself? There are GOOD psychopaths??? Because there are good amongst the jinns.

Peace Nefertiti,

Sorry to hear about your situation, wish you all the best. I know it's hard, but stick to the positive attitude. Belief is everything. There have been cases where people have been cured by mere belief, just keep fighting. That is the point of praryer, it helps us be optimistic. Be positive always. Don't let your physical ailments bring you down. Find things to occupy your time, things that bring you peace and make you happy. Stay as busy as possible. Remember, the only person that exists is you. All the people in your life are mere caricatures in your play.

What have the doctors said?

I believe translations that used arabic of Muhammad's time and that actually makes sense. Not ones clearly affected by hadiths to mean almost nothing similar to what they really say.

The whole concept of prayer is retarded, Mr.scumbag admin. It's obvious you're just a bully who has admin powers and think the fear of ban might change anything, but I honestly don't care. Just don't forget to pray to your non-existent idol afterwards.

Anyone who believes you must pray to an omnipotent creator is a moron
Anyone who believes in a creator with limited powers is also a moron

Prayer always get answered.. however sometime we don't like the answer..
Prayer does help in changing your own / inner condition.. it gives you calm and peace.. that is the cause & effect of prayer. Your inner feelings of calm/peace 'might' trigger something else....

Salam / Peace

For people wanting "Calm and Peace" the best quickest thing to do the job surely is to needle/ drug yourself.

Is Calm and peace what we realy want, well we will get enough of that when we are dead and buried.

pain/suffering/danger to waken the innerself and become stronger- sometimes is good, that is without causing harm.

 :peace:

Not wise.. as the needle/drug might have undesirable side effect...

Might not be true..  don't rely too much on it..
Absence of consciousness is not calm and peace
