Salam..

I do understand your perdiciment... I was borned and raised a sunni. But I was disatisfied with the teaching.. Don't get me wrong, I did further studies in Quran and Hadith... But due to the 'spiritual hole', I end up studying in biblical studies, up to the point that I can be an ordained minister (not catholic). But I've came back to Islam..So, yes actually the truth is hard to find.. And cannot be thought BUT it can be learned...

May the peace of God would always be with you.
It's only sinful or permissible if God says so!

Salaam Arifa, Insh'Allah you are well!

Funnily enough, I never wanted to go to Morocco, let alone live there! To it's credit, there is some beautiful coastline there, and I do love the sea!
I would like to go to Turkey too-that also has some wonderful beaches, and it is so rich in history. I intend to go there at some point in the next two years and spend 4-6 weeks there insh'Allah.

I know what you mean about not being a tourist. I hate it when people do that. My mum is the worst culprit. When we went to Spain she felt the compulsion to have me take a picture of her every two minutes. I might have indulged her photo fetish if it wasn't for the fact we were on a boat surrounded by sea! And even in London, despite having been there a million times before-not only must we have pictures taken at every single monument, but we can't walk down a single inordinate street without the camera coming out.
Being a tourist is boring. I think the best thing to do is absorb the local culture. So, which other places are on your hitlist?

Yes, I am Punjabi. Are you from the South?

I have not heard the flute version of that song. I will youtube it. Thank you for the compliment about my name. Insh'Allah your husband will pen you a song and tribute poetry in your name! :-)

I have got to be honest, looks-wise, Anushka Sharma is not my cup of tea. To be honest, I know most people think she is attractive, and Katrina Kaif too, but I find them a little plain for me. I generally like girls with wild hair, soulful eyes and earthy personalities with a little bit of fire. I don't like skinny girls either. Katrina is beautifully curvy, but her and Anushka seem too nicey nicey, goody goody type of girls for me. I have very strange taste, according to my friends, in men and I suppose, I am just as strange in my taste for women!

The dam dam song,I have definitely seen it,but I can't remember the video.I will add that on my youtube list too!

DDLJ is a classic. My favourite is 'Devdas', Sanjay Leela Bhansali's. Yours?
Salaam.

So sorry for the delay in replying to you. Yes I am from South India! My mother tongue is tamil. Haha, hopefully my husband would write a great song about me :P Wow, your tastes and preferences are indeed unique. I like girls who look simple and soulful :) My favourite bollywood movie till this day is RNBDJ ;) But my favourite movie is Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya (Will you cross the skies for me?). The best till today. In addition, A R Rahman was the composer of all the songs in the movie. :)

I still <3 MOROCCO haha. It seems very exotic for me. And looks like a great destination to escape away ;)

Peace be with you as well!
Yes after that, they took that back.
I've been threatened as well and ran away almost 2 thousand miles away, and then came back.

You ran away almost 2000 miles away? Wow, you MUST be a superhero. I salute your courage :) Thank goodness they took you back. I am hoping that they arent giving you any troubles.

@Saiful Ali

Peace and hello brother!  :sun: I also did a study in Hadiths too. But most end up contradicting each other and left me very confused. May God guide you in your endeavours to seek the Truth!

Peace  :yay:

Salaam Arian,

Peace be upon you, I am Christian and in no way I will disrespect people's religion. I would say good luck with the journey to discovery as the others are sharing.

I do not mean to confuse you, you need to follow what is in your heart , I know that in Islam belief and teaching, women and men have observations and if you respect you religion you should purposefully do it. BUT...

In Christianity we believe in freedom not fear and everyone will always be willing to answer whatever question. our parent used to say "don't play with the name of God..." never took our phones or toys most specially when you are of age. So a woman has as much rights as a man in whatever issue but it is for a woman to understand that a man is the head of the house :brickwall:

Fear  :elektro:to ask some deep concerns means you are under bondage, no matter how much you give in, you will never be free. life is a gift and you owe the fruits to God, should you not then find out from Him what to do or not? He and He alone will require the fruits at the end, :welcome:

The true God reveals to you what you should do, sometimes we question our elders but already we are not ready to accept, in fact we hope to enlighten them, maybe God has already spoken to you heart.  :bravo:

As Christians, we believe Jesus died for us and we should not be afraid or bound of/by anything that can kill the flesh and cannot touch the soul. We believe Jesus died to redeem our souls to God and in resurrection we shall receive new flesh just as a corn dying and receives another body as a tree.  :& :welcome:

In Christianity people who questions the faith likes to say, the Bible was written by western people or the Bible is a fabrications, but I tell you in the name of Jesus I have removed deseases in people and I have seen miracles which are the demostrations, :o

well, I was just sharing in case you might also want to learn little bit of Christianity, please do ask questions and I will answer and you can investigate and make conclusion, :sun:

God bless,
