The Word: it converts Abstract Realm into Physical Realm

Mr.Q:
Always brother.

No worries and no hurt feelings. We are just discussing and exchanging views, understandings and ideas. If I disagree with you or have a different view, please don't take it personally because I don't mean it like that at all.  :handshake:

Zulf:
No worries man  :)  :handshake:

IAMOP:

--- Quote from: Mr.Q on May 28, 2012, 10:55:26 AM ---Your brain waves are confined to your head. They don't emanate any "force" that can cause an effect in the natural word. It would be like saying the beating of your heart, which is no more than electrical impulses more "forceful" than the brains, could somehow cause and effect in the natural world.

If you think hard about something and it should happen, we didn't have anything to do with it. It's God alone who decides and causes effects to come about.

--- End quote ---

Actually they do emanate a force but you would need extremely sensitive apparatus to measure it. Same thing with your hearbeat.

To put this debate into perspective, the genetic code for a human body fits into around 1.5GB of space and the imprint that gives a person individuality can be squeezed into 20MB or less. So in 1.5GB of words, you have a person. But to translate those words into a living body with a personality requires something beyond words; the mind.

Mr.Q:
Oh I know that brainwaves can be measured, brother. What I was trying to say is that they are so small a "force" that to think ( ;)) they can influence or effect the outside world of Nature is wrong. I only compared it with the heart because the "forces" at work in the heart, ie electrical impulses are much stronger, and more easily measured than the brains yet we don't ever make the argument that the heart can influence or effect the outside world of Nature either.

Zulf:
I'm sure every process in the body can be measured in a physical science way... brain through EEG, heart through ECG, nerves and the rest of the electrical body of ours through different means. But, what I was referring to is something that main stream science most probably would dismiss as non-sense... that's why you guys would not be familiar with what I'm referring to. I'm doing some experiments and I'll report back again on this this autumn.
Anyway, I don't think the electric impulses of the heart or brain would affect the physical environment around us... apart from perhaps auras could be felt to some extent between individuals.
Cheers all!

ps. by the way.. the Chinese say the mind sleeps in the heart, which is the home of the mind.  ;D
