I'm a Muslim. I guess I would be considered Shia if one is to count originating sect. I became an athiest for a short time after a history professor influenced me by bashing Jesus and the Bible, which would be kind of a strange reason for a Muslim to leave. Then I came back to Islam with an open mind, and started to think more critically about it. I had some interest in the Quran only movement but really didn't follow it too much. I just got into a fight with a Salafi recently, which has sparked my interest in Quran only and hadiths again and brought me here.
