Even though I dislike them, terrorists and Russians should just destroy U.S
Actually, every kind of government must die. Rotten retards who ruin the world because of their stupid desires.

Uhhh, I live in the US with a wife and 3 kids.  While America is a messed up place at the moment, I'd really, REALLY prefer that my family not be exposed to mortal danger, particularly the kind created by Russians or terrorists.  SOPA and PIPA, along with the Patriot Act and NDAA, are all bad news.  Lots of people know this.  But our government is bought and paid for by big business.  I've written my senators, I've sent them emails, I've contacted state legislators.  None of it does much good because of lobbyists.  All Russians or terrorists would do would be to create more justification for an authoritarian government.  :(

Then kill the leaders. IDC, anything. Any kind of government or human invented law is stupid. People rather live in deny than search for the truth.

Are you kidding??

Let me ask you this: have you ever actually been in a fistfight, I mean a real fistfight beyond some little schoolboy row on the playground that involved serious bodily injury?  Have you ever actually seen the effects of violence firsthand?  Have you ever had to take the life of an animal, much less a person?  Ever handled a firearm and seen what it can do to an inanimate object?  If not, then STFU about killing people and overthrowing governments.  No one with any sense whatsoever who has actually experienced real violence EVER says the kinds of things you have said here.

Shalom Aleikhom,

Not everyone in FM is an adult.

SOPA should not be allowed to come into effect. Internet is not anyone's private property, its like a global conscious in digital format. How can anyone even think about censoring our consciousness ? Almost all US policies make me feel like they are squeezing the Capitalistic Lemon too much... after a while, it starts tasting bad...if you know what I mean.

But I am a schoolboy. Stupid government old greeds should just stay out of freedom. Not that there is much freedom left in this world anyway. And if you think I have to stfu about overthrowing governments you are a stupid loser.

Greetings and Peace, all

Extremes are bad. SOPA, the so-called "Patriot" Act, and many other laws and proposed laws are bad exactly because they are extreme.

It is equally, (if not more so), extreme to propose/advocate violence. I take the initial comment to be hyperbole. If I thought that another was actually serious in promoting/advocating/planning violence in such a situation, a duty would exist to stop that person. I respect a person's right to think whatever they like, but violence is out of line as a response and disproportionate to the perceived injury in this case--especially for PROPOSED legislation.

I don't believe SOPA will pass.

Peace SoA,

That's kind of the problem. Without knowing better, I was unable to tell if kaiokenred was a boy talking about things that he has no real knowledge of, or an adult with incendiary ideas.  While I think SOPA/PIPA are very bad legislative bills, I do not think that violence is the solution if they pass.  My dad put a handgun in my hand at age 7 and had me squeeze off a .357 round into a milk jug filled with water as a lesson about how dangerous weapons are.  The lesson was learned.  In university, I spent two semesters looking at crime scene photos in a class taught by the investigator of those murders. These experiences, along with some others, have taught me that you never use that kind of talk lightly, particularly if a person has never seen the effects of violence.  Since kaikoenred is a boy, he should talk about boy things and enjoy being a boy.  He'll have PLENTY of time to deal with the ugliness of the current state of things when he's a man.

Peace Abdul Hadi,

They (Patriot Act and NDAA) are also bad because they go against the very principles that America was founded upon.  The Declaration of Independence states that all men are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights.  ALL MEN.  Not just US citizens.  Habeas Corpus and Due Process should not be treated like hindrances to justice, they are the best way to arrive at justice, whether the accused is an American citizen or Osama bin Laden.  I do not believe SOPA will pass either.  :)

@MaverickMonotheist: I 100% agree with your post. My experience (and access) to firearms started at age 8...also with a .357 magnum. As much as I enjoy firearms (plinking, EDC, etc) I suppose FM isn't the place for "gun porn."  ;)

Ever hear of Oath Keepers? Here is a link to video of them in reference to gun confiscation in NO during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Laws do not grant rights--rights are absolute. Even the Bill of Rights doesn't grant/confer rights--it merely lists them. Good laws protect rights. We all know what bad laws do.

Peace Abdul-Hadi,

I agree.  :)

I have heard of Oath Keepers, they seem pretty solid.  I just hope there are enough of them when it is obvious that we've descended into full-blown tyranny.

On a related note, it looks like Anonymous is having some fun today.  DoJ website and some others were down.
