Introduction area

It would be nice to have an "Introduction" area for new people, and then existing members can say hello and welcome them or make suggestions based on basic information the person may be looking for.

This is a staple in all other forums I've ever been apart of over the last decade.. it is shocking to find nothing here for this

Well, the alternative to that is:

Free Minds >> Forums >> General Issues / Questions >> How you came to GOD Alone?
Description: We would like to hear and share the stories/histories of people who came to find the path of `GOD Alone`.

That is where people introduce themselves. Yes, we can have a section for new members to introduce themselves, but I dont find it a must have section, specially considering the fact that people do introduce themselves in the right place anyway.

Lets wait and see what the admins have to say on this.

Like Student of Allah said, "Welcome to God Alone" is already in use as our introductory section. It would be redundant to add another, IMO.

I see it is being used for that now.

When I first got here though, the name of the forum suggested it was for people who ALREADY converted though.

I would recommend from a newcomer's standpoint to perhaps adjust the title of the forum somehow That is just a humble opinion though, nothing more. It took me days before I even clicked on it because I thought "Well, that area isn't really for me right now."

Edit: Also, the description of the forum backed up my initial assessment: "We would like to hear and share the stories/histories of people who came to find the path of `GOD Alone`." which sounds like it is a forum area strictly for converts to share stories, and not for "everyone" to introduce themselves.
