Female British Muslim MP pelted with eggs

LONDON: One of Britain’s most powerful Muslim women was pelted with eggs on Monday by a group of men who accused her of not being a proper Muslim and of supporting the deaths of Muslims in Afghanistan.

Sayeeda Warsi, a lawmaker from the main opposition Conservatives, was campaigning in Luton, north of London, when the men confronted her and started shouting abuse, her spokesman said.

“They were saying something about her not being a proper Muslim,” he said. “But rather than run off, she stood her ground and said ‘let’s have a proper debate, let’s have an argument.’ “But they just carried on screaming and shouting at her.”

This women did not deserve the attention of these disgusting and ingnorant men. How they have a right to tell her she is not a real muslim!!!!!

I visited her web site and she is supports and promotes some fantastic causes to prevent injustice and violence to women and muslims around the world.

I only hope that the actions of a few cowards do not impact her .......how brave for her to stand and debate after being pelted by eggs...what cowars these men were...she gets a thumbs up from me.
