Aint much to it
« on: January 28, 2009, 04:03:28 AM »
Ive always been spiritual since i was around fifteen, always reading the bible till i learned about Islam in history class. Ill admit, being so young then, the idea of four wives and fighting for God was very appealing lol, so when i the subject of Islam came up i immediately ordered my own Quran and read it. I think it was easier to read the Quran then it was the bible. while i was reading the Quran I referenced the Bible to some of the verses i read, like how Jesus was not God or Gods son, i remembered the verse in the NT where Jesus said that we can be the sons of God too which to me implied that when Jesus says hes the son of God, hes saying hes the spiritual son of God as we are all the children of God (spiritually). Also Islam makes more sense for example, Jesus said when someone strikes you to turn the other cheek, and preached against any violence at all, well if thats true then how did christians with such clear verses conquer all those people or go to war at all period. In Islam we are allowed to defend ourselves (jihad), which makes a lot more sense then just turning the other cheek, because then we could be wiped out completely. Anyways, to the point, after reading more and more, especially the articles on this site and a few others, i have come to the conclusion that Quran only Islam is the true religion, I am proud to say i am a Quranite. Well thats my story, thanks for readin.

Welcome, hmm same kind of story I was 15 when I discovered qur'an...I kept hearng so much about muslims I was interested in what they did...At the time I thought muhammad was the anti christ and islam was the great beast of revelation...but after I read qur'an I changed my mind such a beautiful book
1 Peter 3:15
 And the Lord God sanctify in your hearts. And [be] ready always for defence to every one who is asking of you an account concerning the hope that [is] in you, with meekness and fear;

Surah 16:125 Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance.

It is an act of virtue to deceive and lie, when by such means the interest of the church might be promoted." -- Bishop Eusebius (260 - 339 CE) Early Catholic church father
