well I know Quran talks about slaves but in what manner and what approach has it taken towards slavery, thats something we need to analyze.

We have to check if it promotes slavery or taking an approach to abolish it... :wink:

The Quran strongly advocates the 'freeing' of slaves as acts of rightouesness, but gives no way to aqcuire them...Thus, with time you end-up with a slaveless society.

Historical accounts recorded by muslims tells us that Mohammed himself took enslaved his captives.  You believe this?

Or perhaps in Islam its ok to have slaves as long as you free them after some time?

well as you mentioned "Historical accounts" so I think you know that you have to bring some prove from Quran to convince ppl in this forum..:)
