Salaaman brother waqas,

The site perfect. Color combination, design, fonts, tips, style, matter... everything is superb, really. Alhamdulillah.

But I dont find any member whenever I visit the site. Just now also I have tried but no member is availbale. And I have added a poll on 23 August 2008, till now only 3 persons checked it. This is the only thing I wanted to tell.

InshaAllah, if I find any errors or bugs, surely I will inform here...

Please do not misunderstand me, I do not mind discussing the site, including shortcomings. In fact, this is essential. All I wanted to know was the approach you were taking.

The main reason I asked is because in my experience, I have found majority of people say XYZ, yet do not do anything that would actualise XYZ, which is quite alien to me. So, lets say in this case, you find no people online at the time you log in, what one could do is search for members close to you and message them, or those who share your interests and message them, or promote the site amongst the target audience to grow the site, or initiate site content to promote interaction etc.

The reason for not promoting it yet was to let it grow organically (i.e. by itself) until we are happy with the site's functionality and information on how to use it.

I think we can inform to only those who are Allah alone as it is a QuranConnection.

Promoting it to so called muslims may mess up everything with hypocracy or something else. I can see the clear purpose of creating this website, so it is always better to let it go in the way that we want.

And unfortunately, I could not find any of the members even after search for "ALL"  ;D this might because of timing. When we work most of the members might be sleeping.

If I say very frankly brother, I don't stay for long there as I feel it empty whenever I visit. So, actually I have spend some time surfing around to check whether everything is working or not. And inshaAllah, I will do that. But I am really happy as I said in my previous message that everything on the site is simply perfect. The look is the best, it gives me a royal impression.  :yes

It depends how you search. I assume you click "only online", hence get no results. Even if you found member online via this method, you may not be able to message them depending on their settings.

Well , no one is ever on chat and I started the submitter sisters quran connection group and well I cant do nothing on it to it or for it???  My husband also has a profile and it locked him out somehow.

When you say you cant do nothing on/to/for it, do you mean you cant access the classified/events/forum functions? I have never started a group so I am not familiar with the functions.

The site doesn't have the numbers to have people on constantly for chat. Regular chats were done in the past and there was some success with a specific time slot given beforehand. In this thread I recommended going back to one slot:
