Is Allah (swt) time?

There is no such independent phenomena as "time":

"Time is a part of the measuring system used to sequence events, to compare the durations of events and the intervals between them, and to quantify rates of change such as the motions of objects"

So when Allaah said that "I am Time", He explained in the exact same Hadeeth Qudsee as to what that means. It means that He is the One who causes the alternation of day and night, He is the one that sets things into motion. Time is not an independent force that acts independently. In reality, time is simply our perception of something that is in reality in the Hands of Allaah.

"Time" in the hours/minutes/seconds sense is merely convenience created by man.

"Time" in the philosophical sense was created during the Big Bang (according to science). Furthermore, logic shows that time is not infinite since infinity cannot exist in our relative universe.

God cannot be time because God was not created. God is the creator of time and is eternal since He is not bound by time (like we are).

Eternity is God. There is no other eternity. Still God is beyond time and dimensions, being unlimited. Eternity is an aspect of unlimitedness. But God is eternal, and there is no other eternal.

There is no other eternal, because unlimitedness is also almightyness. And there is only one allmighty.
