We are intending to host a NA Quranic Community Conference some time in 2012. If you are interested in organising, participating, or attending such a conference, please let me know, either here or through pm.

A facebook group has has also been created for those who would like to get involved in the organisation of the conference or for those who wish to attend. The fb group is called NA Quranic Community Conference and can be found here:

There has also been a paltalk room set up for discussions leading up to the conference where we can discuss dates, venues, etc. this room can be accessed here:

There are quite a few Quran Alone Muslims in South Africa. I have been involved in coordinating annual national conferences in South Africa for Quran Alone Muslims since 2009. I have recently moved to Canada, bu I can put you in touch with some Quran alone Muslims in South Africa if you let me know which part of South Africa you're in.

Also, if you send me your email address, I can add you to the googlegroup that will keep you informed on the annual conferences in South Africa.

I've been away from the forum for quite some time because I couldn't access it from my ipaddress. Not sure what the problem was.

I have been coordinating Quran conferences in south Africa annually since 2009. I have now moved to Canada. I'm based close to Vancouver, BC. I am currently starting the process of organising a conference in North America. I have never had the privledge of participating in a hajj, though.

How do you then see quroo' in 2:228, which is usually translated as menstrual cycles/periods/courses. How does this relate to the root?
