When I read this I wanted to punch the person who wrote it. Can't remember where I originally read the article though.

Looks like the only place she earned a ticket to was hell...

If you look at 2:28, one could argue FOR reincarnation:

Sahih International
How can you disbelieve in Allah when you were lifeless and He brought you to life; then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you [back] to life, and then to Him you will be returned.

Muhsin Khan
How can you disbelieve in Allah? Seeing that you were dead and He gave you life. Then He will give you death, then again will bring you to life (on the Day of Resurrection) and then unto Him you will return.

Pickthall
How disbelieve ye in Allah when ye were dead and He gave life to you! Then He will give you death, then life again, and then unto Him ye will return.

Yusuf Ali
How can ye reject the faith in Allah?- seeing that ye were without life, and He gave you life; then will He cause you to die, and will again bring you to life; and again to Him will ye return.

Shakir
How do you deny Allah and you were dead and He gave you life? Again He will cause you to die and again bring you to life; then you shall be brought back to Him.

Dr. Ghali
How do you disbelieve in Allah and you were dead, then He gave you life, thereafter He (causes) you to die, (and) thereafter He gives you life (again), (and) thereafter to Him you will be returned?

General Issues / Questions / Re: 24:31 head covering?

I was just curious if anyone else has read this article and if they have any thoughts on this particular argument for covering:

General Issues / Questions / Re: question from a Atheist
« on: October 17, 2012, 07:05:39 AM »
The maintainer of all universes is boundless and has no limit in all dimensions..

Thus the best symbol to represent Him (or It) is ∞

Some explanation:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infinity

God created God which is exactly the same as Himself it will be:
∞ + ∞

and
∞ + ∞ = ∞
and so does:
∞ + ∞ +  ∞ = ∞
10000000 X ∞ = ∞

Thus it will be back to be Himself..

That also explains why there can only be 1 ∞

As:
∞ / ∞ = 1
Thus
∞ = ∞

God can only be compared with Himself and He/It has no equal except Him/Itself..

Salam / Peace

This is very similar to my understanding of God, I always used the idea of a circle as an example, where does the circle start? Where does the circle end? It has no beginning nor end, which is how I viewed God: always was and always will be.

Job Seekers/Business / Re: Suggesting the wrong employee to work
« on: October 14, 2012, 11:35:32 PM »
This is exactly why I NEVER recommend anyone for a job or suggest them to my employer. I just don't want to take the chance of it blowing up in my face. If I know of a job elsewhere the person might be good at I tell them about, but that is about it. All I can say is just take it as a lesson learned and you were trying to do a good thing, at least you can take comfort in getting reward for it. Allah knows your intentions. Take care.

From my general understanding we are not punished until the next life and all the harm that befalls you in this life is a test. We don't have control on the outcome of a given situation but we can control how we react to it. That part is the test, our reaction to the test. This is just how I see it...
