Peace and Happiness to All.

I want to thank all those who conversed with me . I would also like to ask forgiveness from those I upset or have been unfair to without realising it.

I also wish to ask forgiveness from the Lord if I told lies about Him without realising it.


Brothers and sisters, you have a good forum, please look after each other and discuss /debate with fairness and good will. May the truth prevail.

I am leaving because of a promise I made to the Lord towards concentrating on my study. God willing, I am stopping posting from now, until the interim promised is fulfilled.

Does it really matter? The fact remains we have a" proven" scripture now, whether we need one or we do not! Yes ,there is proof that it is the word of God.( For me anyway and others...)

Those who do not accept the " proof" that the Qoran is authored by GOD:
 

53:57″ The inevitable is imminent.”  ( Resurrection and Judgement?, Who do you answer to?)

53:58″ None beside GOD can relieve it.”

53:59″Are you questioning this matter?”

53:60″ Are you laughing instead of crying?”

54:43″ Are your disbelievers ( You, this generation!) better than those disbelievers? Have you been absolved by the scripture?” ( Are you exempt?)

54:44″ Perhaps they think( You this generation!):” We will be the winners!” ( Humans and Arrogance!)

54:45″ All of them ( Disbelievers of all generations!) will be defeated; They will turn around and ( try to ) flee.” ( Only there is nowhere to escape to! )

54:46″ The hour is awaiting them ( Judgement day!!!) and the hour is far worse and more painful.”

54:49″ Everything We created is precisely measured.”

54:50″ Our commands are done within the blink of an eye.”

54:51″ We annihilated your counterparts. ( From the old generations) Does any of you wish to learn?”

54:52″ Everything they did is recorded in scrolls.” ( Accurate records!)

54:53″ Everything ,small or large, is written down.” ( Remember, GOD is forgiver, Most Merciful if you submit!)


56:77  to 56:87:

” This is an honourable book.” (Message)… A protected book.” ( By ..proof!)

” None can grasp it except the Sincere!” ( Simple criteria of submission, no other Motives!)

” Are you disregarding this narration?”

” Do you make it your business that you do not believe?”

” When the time comes and “it” ( Your last breath as you are dying!) reaches your throat.”

” You will then look around.”

” We are closer  to it than you are, but you do not see.” ( The Angel of death!)

” If it is true that you do not owe any accounting.” ( That you are not returning to your creator for judgement!)

” Why do you not restore ( your life!) if you are truthful!”



Yes it does not matter a jot!!!  Because:

57:22″ Anything that happens on earth or to you, has already been recorded, even before the creation; This is easy for GOD to do.” ( GOD knows the past, present and the future!)

” This is the absolute truth.”

” You shall glorify the name of your Lord, the Great.”

22: 17  ” Those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Converts ( to any religion), the Christians, the Zoroastrians   ( and any name you wish to give to man s religion) and the idol worshippers ( and the Muslims,  Hindus, the thousands of religious sects, the disbelievers, the Atheists, etc…) GOD is the one who will judge among them on the day of Resurrection. فَتَعٰلَى اللَّهُ المَلِكُ الحَقُّ وَلا تَعجَل بِالقُرءانِ مِن قَبلِ أَن يُقضىٰ إِلَيكَ وَحيُهُ وَقُل رَبِّ زِدنى عِلمًا

[43:36]
Anyone who disregards the message of the Most Gracious, we appoint a devil to be his constant companion.*
وَمَن يَعشُ عَن ذِكرِ الرَّحمٰنِ نُقَيِّض لَهُ شَيطٰنًا فَهُوَ لَهُ قَرينٌ
[43:37]
Such companions will divert them from the path, yet make them believe that they are guided.
وَإِنَّهُم لَيَصُدّونَهُم عَنِ السَّبيلِ وَيَحسَبونَ أَنَّهُم مُهتَدونَ
[43:38]
When he comes before us he will say, "Oh I wish you were as far from me as the two easts.* What a miserable companion!"
حَتّىٰ إِذا جاءَنا قالَ يٰلَيتَ بَينى وَبَينَكَ بُعدَ المَشرِقَينِ فَبِئسَ القَرينُ

Peace All.

Let us put " Salat" to bed and get to the bottom of what everyone is making out to be a mystery?

Here is a collection of the scripture about " salat" gathered together for the brave to find its definition, meaning,...At the end let us ask some relevant questions about " Salat" for the benefit of all who want to know.

First the verses:( Not in any particular order):
[73:19-20]
إِنَّ هٰذِهِ تَذكِرَةٌ فَمَن شاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلىٰ رَبِّهِ سَبيلًا

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَعلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَقومُ أَدنىٰ مِن ثُلُثَىِ الَّيلِ وَنِصفَهُ وَثُلُثَهُ وَطائِفَةٌ مِنَ الَّذينَ مَعَكَ وَاللَّهُ يُقَدِّرُ الَّيلَ وَالنَّهارَ عَلِمَ أَن لَن تُحصوهُ فَتابَ عَلَيكُم فَاقرَءوا ما تَيَسَّرَ مِنَ القُرءانِ عَلِمَ أَن سَيَكونُ مِنكُم مَرضىٰ وَءاخَرونَ يَضرِبونَ فِى الأَرضِ يَبتَغونَ مِن فَضلِ اللَّهِ وَءاخَرونَ يُقٰتِلونَ فى سَبيلِ اللَّهِ فَاقرَءوا ما تَيَسَّرَ مِنهُ وَأَقيمُوا الصَّلوٰةَ وَءاتُوا الزَّكوٰةَ وَأَقرِضُوا اللَّهَ قَرضًا حَسَنًا وَما تُقَدِّموا لِأَنفُسِكُم مِن خَيرٍ تَجِدوهُ عِندَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيرًا وَأَعظَمَ أَجرًا وَاستَغفِرُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفورٌ رَحيمٌ
[96:9-10]
أَرَءَيتَ الَّذى يَنهىٰ
عَبدًا إِذا صَلّىٰ
[8:35]
 وَما كانَ صَلاتُهُم عِندَ البَيتِ إِلّا مُكاءً وَتَصدِيَةً فَذوقُوا العَذابَ بِما كُنتُم تَكفُرونَ
[2:128]
 رَبَّنا وَاجعَلنا مُسلِمَينِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنا أُمَّةً مُسلِمَةً لَكَ وَأَرِنا مَناسِكَنا وَتُب عَلَينا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوّابُ الرَّحيمُ

[2:151-153]
كَما أَرسَلنا فيكُم رَسولًا مِنكُم يَتلوا عَلَيكُم ءايٰتِنا وَيُزَكّيكُم وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ الكِتٰبَ وَالحِكمَةَ وَيُعَلِّمُكُم ما لَم تَكونوا تَعلَمونَ
فَاذكُرونى أَذكُركُم وَاشكُروا لى وَلا تَكفُرونِ
يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنُوا استَعينوا بِالصَّبرِ وَالصَّلوٰةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصّٰبِرينَ
[2:177]
لَيسَ البِرَّ أَن تُوَلّوا وُجوهَكُم قِبَلَ المَشرِقِ وَالمَغرِبِ وَلٰكِنَّ البِرَّ مَن ءامَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَاليَومِ الـٔاخِرِ وَالمَلٰئِكَةِ وَالكِتٰبِ وَالنَّبِيّـۧنَ وَءاتَى المالَ عَلىٰ حُبِّهِ ذَوِى القُربىٰ وَاليَتٰمىٰ وَالمَسٰكينَ وَابنَ السَّبيلِ وَالسّائِلينَ وَفِى الرِّقابِ وَأَقامَ الصَّلوٰةَ وَءاتَى الزَّكوٰةَ وَالموفونَ بِعَهدِهِم إِذا عٰهَدوا وَالصّٰبِرينَ فِى البَأساءِ وَالضَّرّاءِ وَحينَ البَأسِ أُولٰئِكَ الَّذينَ صَدَقوا وَأُولٰئِكَ هُمُ المُتَّقونَ

[2:238-239]
حٰفِظوا عَلَى الصَّلَوٰتِ وَالصَّلوٰةِ الوُسطىٰ وَقوموا لِلَّهِ قٰنِتينَ
فَإِن خِفتُم فَرِجالًا أَو رُكبانًا فَإِذا أَمِنتُم فَاذكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَما عَلَّمَكُم ما لَم تَكونوا تَعلَمونَ

[2:278]
إِنَّ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَأَقامُوا الصَّلوٰةَ وَءاتَوُا الزَّكوٰةَ لَهُم أَجرُهُم عِندَ رَبِّهِم وَلا خَوفٌ عَلَيهِم وَلا هُم يَحزَنونَ

[22:77-78]
يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنُوا اركَعوا وَاسجُدوا وَاعبُدوا رَبَّكُم وَافعَلُوا الخَيرَ لَعَلَّكُم تُفلِحونَ
وَجٰهِدوا فِى اللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهادِهِ هُوَ اجتَبىٰكُم وَما جَعَلَ عَلَيكُم فِى الدّينِ مِن حَرَجٍ مِلَّةَ أَبيكُم إِبرٰهيمَ هُوَ سَمّىٰكُمُ المُسلِمينَ مِن قَبلُ وَفى هٰذا لِيَكونَ الرَّسولُ شَهيدًا عَلَيكُم وَتَكونوا شُهَداءَ عَلَى النّاسِ فَأَقيمُوا الصَّلوٰةَ وَءاتُوا الزَّكوٰةَ وَاعتَصِموا بِاللَّهِ هُوَ مَولىٰكُم فَنِعمَ المَولىٰ وَنِعمَ النَّصيرُ

[3:43]
يٰمَريَمُ اقنُتى لِرَبِّكِ وَاسجُدى وَاركَعى مَعَ الرّٰكِعينَ
[3:191]
الَّذينَ يَذكُرونَ اللَّهَ قِيٰمًا وَقُعودًا وَعَلىٰ جُنوبِهِم وَيَتَفَكَّرونَ فى خَلقِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ رَبَّنا ما خَلَقتَ هٰذا بٰطِلًا سُبحٰنَكَ فَقِنا عَذابَ النّارِ

[19:31]
وَجَعَلَنى مُبارَكًا أَينَ ما كُنتُ وَأَوصٰنى بِالصَّلوٰةِ وَالزَّكوٰةِ ما دُمتُ حَيًّا
[19:59]
فَخَلَفَ مِن بَعدِهِم خَلفٌ أَضاعُوا الصَّلوٰةَ وَاتَّبَعُوا الشَّهَوٰتِ فَسَوفَ يَلقَونَ غَيًّا

[21:73]
وَجَعَلنٰهُم أَئِمَّةً يَهدونَ بِأَمرِنا وَأَوحَينا إِلَيهِم فِعلَ الخَيرٰتِ وَإِقامَ الصَّلوٰةِ وَإيتاءَ الزَّكوٰةِ وَكانوا لَنا عٰبِدينَ

[4:101-103]
وَإِذا ضَرَبتُم فِى الأَرضِ فَلَيسَ عَلَيكُم جُناحٌ أَن تَقصُروا مِنَ الصَّلوٰةِ إِن خِفتُم أَن يَفتِنَكُمُ الَّذينَ كَفَروا إِنَّ الكٰفِرينَ كانوا لَكُم عَدُوًّا مُبينًا

وَإِذا كُنتَ فيهِم فَأَقَمتَ لَهُمُ الصَّلوٰةَ فَلتَقُم طائِفَةٌ مِنهُم مَعَكَ وَليَأخُذوا أَسلِحَتَهُم فَإِذا سَجَدوا فَليَكونوا مِن وَرائِكُم وَلتَأتِ طائِفَةٌ أُخرىٰ لَم يُصَلّوا فَليُصَلّوا مَعَكَ وَليَأخُذوا حِذرَهُم وَأَسلِحَتَهُم وَدَّ الَّذينَ كَفَروا لَو تَغفُلونَ عَن أَسلِحَتِكُم وَأَمتِعَتِكُم فَيَميلونَ عَلَيكُم مَيلَةً وٰحِدَةً وَلا جُناحَ عَلَيكُم إِن كانَ بِكُم أَذًى مِن مَطَرٍ أَو كُنتُم مَرضىٰ أَن تَضَعوا أَسلِحَتَكُم وَخُذوا حِذرَكُم إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَعَدَّ لِلكٰفِرينَ عَذابًا مُهينًا

فَإِذا قَضَيتُمُ الصَّلوٰةَ فَاذكُرُوا اللَّهَ قِيٰمًا وَقُعودًا وَعَلىٰ جُنوبِكُم فَإِذَا اطمَأنَنتُم فَأَقيمُوا الصَّلوٰةَ إِنَّ الصَّلوٰةَ كانَت عَلَى المُؤمِنينَ كِتٰبًا مَوقوتًا

[29:45]
اتلُ ما أوحِىَ إِلَيكَ مِنَ الكِتٰبِ وَأَقِمِ الصَّلوٰةَ إِنَّ الصَّلوٰةَ تَنهىٰ عَنِ الفَحشاءِ وَالمُنكَرِ وَلَذِكرُ اللَّهِ أَكبَرُ وَاللَّهُ يَعلَمُ ما تَصنَعونَ

[17:78]
أَقِمِ الصَّلوٰةَ لِدُلوكِ الشَّمسِ إِلىٰ غَسَقِ الَّيلِ وَقُرءانَ الفَجرِ إِنَّ قُرءانَ الفَجرِ كانَ مَشهودًا

[17:110]
قُلِ ادعُوا اللَّهَ أَوِ ادعُوا الرَّحمٰنَ أَيًّا ما تَدعوا فَلَهُ الأَسماءُ الحُسنىٰ وَلا تَجهَر بِصَلاتِكَ وَلا تُخافِت بِها وَابتَغِ بَينَ ذٰلِكَ سَبيلًا

[1 وَأَقِمِ الصَّلوٰةَ طَرَفَىِ النَّهارِ وَزُلَفًا مِنَ الَّيلِ إِنَّ الحَسَنٰتِ يُذهِبنَ السَّيِّـٔاتِ ذٰلِكَ ذِكرىٰ لِلذّٰكِرينَ1:114]

[24:56]
وَأَقيمُوا الصَّلوٰةَ وَءاتُوا الزَّكوٰةَ وَأَطيعُوا الرَّسولَ لَعَلَّكُم تُرحَمونَ

[24:58]
يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنوا لِيَستَـٔذِنكُمُ الَّذينَ مَلَكَت أَيمٰنُكُم وَالَّذينَ لَم يَبلُغُوا الحُلُمَ مِنكُم ثَلٰثَ مَرّٰتٍ مِن قَبلِ صَلوٰةِ الفَجرِ وَحينَ تَضَعونَ ثِيابَكُم مِنَ الظَّهيرَةِ وَمِن بَعدِ صَلوٰةِ العِشاءِ ثَلٰثُ عَورٰتٍ لَكُم لَيسَ عَلَيكُم وَلا عَلَيهِم جُناحٌ بَعدَهُنَّ طَوّٰفونَ عَلَيكُم بَعضُكُم عَلىٰ بَعضٍ كَذٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمُ الـٔايٰتِ وَاللَّهُ عَليمٌ حَكيمٌ

[2:125]
 وَإِذ جَعَلنَا البَيتَ مَثابَةً لِلنّاسِ وَأَمنًا وَاتَّخِذوا مِن مَقامِ إِبرٰهـۧمَ مُصَلًّى وَعَهِدنا إِلىٰ إِبرٰهـۧمَ وَإِسمٰعيلَ أَن طَهِّرا بَيتِىَ لِلطّائِفينَ وَالعٰكِفينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ
السُّجودِ
[5:55]
 إِنَّما وَلِيُّكُمُ اللَّهُ وَرَسولُهُ وَالَّذينَ ءامَنُوا الَّذينَ يُقيمونَ الصَّلوٰةَ وَيُؤتونَ الزَّكوٰةَ وَهُم رٰكِعونَ

[76:26]
 وَمِنَ الَّيلِ فَاسجُد لَهُ وَسَبِّحهُ لَيلًا طَويلًا
[5:6]
يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنوا إِذا قُمتُم إِلَى الصَّلوٰةِ فَاغسِلوا وُجوهَكُم وَأَيدِيَكُم إِلَى المَرافِقِ وَامسَحوا بِرُءوسِكُم وَأَرجُلَكُم إِلَى الكَعبَينِ وَإِن كُنتُم جُنُبًا فَاطَّهَّروا وَإِن كُنتُم مَرضىٰ أَو عَلىٰ سَفَرٍ أَو جاءَ أَحَدٌ مِنكُم مِنَ الغائِطِ أَو لٰمَستُمُ النِّساءَ فَلَم تَجِدوا ماءً فَتَيَمَّموا صَعيدًا طَيِّبًا فَامسَحوا بِوُجوهِكُم وَأَيديكُم مِنهُ ما يُريدُ اللَّهُ لِيَجعَلَ عَلَيكُم مِن حَرَجٍ وَلٰكِن يُريدُ لِيُطَهِّرَكُم وَلِيُتِمَّ نِعمَتَهُ عَلَيكُم لَعَلَّكُم تَشكُرونَ

[70:34]
 وَالَّذينَ هُم عَلىٰ صَلاتِهِم يُحافِظونَ

I have listed enough verses here to ponder the following:
1-What is " Salat"?
2-Why and how can we " Akim salat"?
3- Why prepare for "Salat"?
4-When was " Salat" commanded?
5-How do we " Akim salat"?

Do some of the above answer any of these questions? do they pose more questions?

May the Lord show us His true path.

وَالَّذى أَطمَعُ أَن يَغفِرَ لى خَطيـَٔتى يَومَ الدّينِ
