Surah 24:35

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it were a pearly star lit from [the oil of] a blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills. And Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all things.

I am thankful for the poetry of Rumi.

I am thankful for Truth. 

I am thankful for gravity.

I am thankful for the veil of tears, because when it is lifted, I will never again be ungrateful to the Creator. 

I am thankful for all living beings who approach life with dignity and kindness.

I am thankful for riding a skateboard when I was younger.  It helped to shape my life in a positive manner.

This morning, I am grateful for the color spectrum, ROY G BIV.  I am also thankful for colors that cannot be named, because they are beyond our current range of perception. 

I am thankful for cheese pizza.  It can be good to eat. 

I am thankful for all the knowledge that can be gained from interacting with friends and strangers. 

I am thankful for spring days where the sun is bright and there is still a cool breeze. 

I am thankful for your reading of my post.  Thanks for your time.  I appreciate it.
