Salam

I would like to introduce our work to a Quran software

OpenQuran 1.9. is surely free. 

Its designed to give freedom for users to add/remove any version/translation of the Quran with normal txt files to the database

We have also table (comments table) to write own comments for every vers.

The NavBox lets user share ideas according to Quran by writing explanations/comments to specified verses and save as *.oq file which can be shrared with other users.

The special thing in OQ is (beside normal search) to analyse search and show calculations of letters, words, sura- and vers numbers (RightClick on the searchBox "Analyse"). With the great language of "Regular Expressions" we can specify our search exactly the way we want to.

The names of suras and the interface language can be easly changed within xml files

Islamic Calendar & Ramadhan. / Reforming islamic Calendar

Salam

i wrote for weeks an article on my sites about the problematics of the Hijri-Calender (pure lunar Calendar) and why it doesn't agree with the nature of biengs.

After publishing, a friend showed me the Free-Minds article about the same theme http://www.free-minds.org/sites/default/files/TNR.pdf
I was realy surprised that we have almost same conclusions but from a different view.

My english is not good enough to translate all parts, i hope through discussion and some help i can explain more about it
