Questions/Comments on the Quran / Every verse that has to do with salat?
« on: February 07, 2009, 04:52:22 PM »
Are these all the verses having to do with salat? I've been trying to piece together anything from the Holy Quran that has to do with salat, If im missing any at all please post them.

2:3 Those who believe in the unseen, and uphold the communion,
and from Our provisions to them they spend.
2:43 And uphold the communion, and contribute towards betterment,
and kneel with those who kneel.
2:45 And seek help through patience, and through the communion. It
is a difficult thing, but not so for the humble.
2:83 And We took the covenant of the Children of Israel: “You shall
not serve except God, and regard your parents, and regard the relatives,
and orphans, and needy, and say kind things to the people, and uphold the
communion, and contribute towards betterment.” But then you turned
away, except a few of you; you were objecting.
2:110 And uphold the communion, and contribute towards betterment;
and what you bring forth of good for your souls you will find it with God.
God is watching what you do.
2:125 And We have made the Dwelling to be a model for the people
and a security. And you shall take from the situation of Abraham for
communion. And We had entrusted to Abraham and Ishmael: “You shall
purify My Dwelling for those who visit, and those who are devoted, and
the kneeling, the prostrating.”
2:153 O you who believe, seek help through patience and through the
communion, God is with the patient ones.
2:157 For those there will be communions from their Lord and a mercy,
they are the guided ones.
2:177 Piety is not to turn your faces towards the east and the west, but piety
is one who believes in God and the Last Day, and the angels, and the Scripture,
and the prophets, and who gives money out of love to the relatives, and the
orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer, and those who ask, and to free the slaves; and who upholds the communion, and who contributes towards betterment; as well as those who keep their pledges when they make a pledge, and those who are patient in the face of good and bad and when in despair.
These are the ones who have been truthful, and they are the righteous.
2:238 Maintain the communions; and a balanced communion; and
stand dutiful for God.
2:277 Those who believe and do good works, and uphold the communion,
and contribute towards betterment; they will have their rewards with
their Lord and there is no fear over them nor will they grieve.
3:39 The angels called to him whilst he was standing, communing, in
the temple enclosure: “God gives you good tidings of John, authenticating
the word from God, and a master, and steadfast, and a prophet from the
upright.”
4:43 O you who believe, do not approach the communion while you
are intoxicated, until you know what you are saying. Nor if you have
had intercourse, unless traveling, until you bathe. And if you are ill, or
traveling, or one of you has excreted feces, or you had sexual contact with
the women, and could not find water, then you shall select from the clean
soil; you shall wipe your faces and hands. God is Pardoning, Forgiving.
4:77 Did you not see those who were told: “Restrain yourselves, and uphold the communion, and contribute towards betterment.” But when fighting was decreed for them, a group of them feared the people as much as they feared God or even more so. And they said: “Our Lord, why did
You decree fighting for us? If only You would delay for us till another
time.” Say: “The enjoyment of this world is little, and the Hereafter is far
better for those who are aware; you will not be wronged in the least.”
4:101 And if you go forth in the land, then there is no harm that you
shorten from the communion, if you fear that the disbelievers will try
you. The disbelievers are to you a clear enemy.
4:102 And if you are with them and you hold the communion for
them, then let a group from amongst them stand with you and let them
bring their weapons; and when they have prostrated then let them stand
guard from behind; and let a group who has not yet communed come
and commune with you, and let them be wary and let them bring their
weapons with them. The rejecters hope that you would neglect your
weapons and goods so they can come upon you in one blow. There is no
sin upon you if you are impeded by rainfall, or if you are ill, that you place
down your weapons. And be wary. God has prepared for the rejecters a
humiliating retribution.
4:103 So, when you are done making the communion, then remember
God while standing, or sitting, or on your sides. So, when you are relieved,
then uphold the communion. Indeed, the communion for the believers
becomes a timed schedule.
4:142 The hypocrites seek to deceive God, while He is deceiving them;
and if they stand to make the communion, they do so lazily, only to show
the people; they do not remember God except very little.
4:162 But those of them who are firm in knowledge, as well as the
believers, they believe in what was sent down to you and what was sent
down before you; and those who uphold the communion, and those who
contribute towards betterment, and those who believe in God and the
Last Day; to these We will give them their reward greatly.
5:6 O you who believe, if you rise to hold the communion, then wash
your faces and your hands up to the elbows, and wipe your heads and your feet to the ankles; and if you have had intercourse, then you shall bathe. And if you are ill, or traveling, or you have excreted feces, or you have had sexual contact with the women, and you cannot not find water,
then you shall select from the clean soil; you shall wipe your faces and
your hands with it. God does not want to place any hardship on you, but
He wants to cleanse you and to complete His blessings upon you that you
may be appreciative.
5:12 God has taken the covenant of the Children of Israel and raised from
them twelve representatives, and God said: “I am with you if you uphold
the communion, and contribute towards betterment, and believe in My
messengers, and support them, and give God a loan of righteousness; then I
will cancel your sins and admit you into estates with rivers flowing beneath.”
Whoever rejects after this from you, then he has strayed from the path.
5:55 For your supporter is God and His messenger and those who
believe; they uphold the communion, and contribute towards betterment
while yielding.
5:58 And if you call to the communion, they take it as fun and games.
That is because they are a people who do not understand.
5:91 The devil only wants to cause strife between you through
intoxicants and gambling, and to repel you away from remembering God
and from the communion. Will you be deterred?
5:106 O you who believe, witnessing a will if death is approaching one
of you shall be done by two who are just amongst you. Or, if you have gone
forth in the land, then two others may suffice if death is approaching you;
you will hold them after making the communion, and they will swear by
God if you have doubt: “We will not purchase with it any price, even if he
was a near relative, and we will not conceal the testimony of God, or else
we are then of the sinners.”
6:72 And you shall uphold the communion, and be aware; and to Him
you will be gathered.
6:92 And this is a Scripture which We have sent down, blessed,
authenticating what is present with him, and that you may warn the
capital of the towns and those around it. And those who believe in the
Hereafter believe in it, and they are dedicated to their communion.
6:162 Say: “My communion, and my rites, and my life, and my death,
are all to God the Lord of the worlds.”
7:170 As for those who adhere to the Scripture, and they uphold the
communion; We will not waste the reward of the righteous.
8:3 They uphold the communion, and from Our provisions to them
they spend.
8:35 And their communion at the Dwelling was nothing but noise and
aversion. Taste the retribution for what you have rejected.
9:5 So when the restricted months have passed, then you may kill
those who have set up partners wherever you find them, and take them,
and surround them, and stand against them at every point. If they repent,
and uphold the communion, and contribute towards betterment, then
you shall leave them alone. God is Forgiving, Merciful.
9:11 If they repent, and they uphold the communion, and they
contribute towards betterment, then they are your brothers in the system.
We explain the revelations for a people who know.
9:18 Rather, the temples of God are maintained by he who believes in
God and the Last Day, and he upholds the communion, and he contributes
towards betterment, and he does not fear except God. It is these that will
be of the guided ones.
9:54 And what prevented what they would spend from being accepted
from them except that they rejected God and His messenger, and they do
not attend the communion except lazily, and they do not spend except
unwillingly.
9:71 And the believing men and women, they are allies to one another.
They order good and deter from evil, and they uphold the communion,
and they contribute towards betterment and they obey God and His
messenger. God will have mercy on them; God is Noble, Wise.
9:84 And do not commune over any of them who have died, nor stand
at their grave. They have rejected God and His messenger and died while
they were wicked.
9:99 And from the Nomads are those who believe in God and the Last
Day, and he looks upon what he spends to make him closer to God, and
the communions of the messenger. It indeed makes them closer. God will
admit them in His mercy; God is Forgiving, Merciful.
9:103 Take from their money a charity to purify them and develop them
with it, and commune over them; for your communion is a tranquility for
them; and God is Hearer, Knowledgeable.
10:87 And We inspired to Moses and his brother: “Let your people
leave their homes in Egypt, and let these homes be your focal point, and
hold the communion. And give good news to the believers.”
11:87 They said: “O Shu’ayb, does your communion order you that we
leave what our fathers served, or that we do not do with our money as we
please? You are the compassionate, the sane!”
11:114 And you shall hold the communion at the two edges of the day,
during the near parts of the night. The good deeds take away the bad.
This is a reminder to those who remember.
13:22 And those who are patient seeking their Lord’s direction; and
they uphold the communion, and they spend from what We bestowed
upon them secretly and openly, and they counter sin with good; these will
have an excellent abode.
14:31 Say to My servants who believe, that they should uphold the
communion, and spend from what provisions We granted them secretly
and publicly, before a Day comes when there is no trade therein, nor will
there be any friends.
14:37 “Our Lord, I have resided part of my progeny in an uncultivated
valley near your Sacred Dwelling. My Lord, so that they may uphold the
communion. So let the hearts of the people incline towards them and give
provisions to them of the fruits that they may give thanks.”
14:40 “My Lord, let me uphold the communion, and also from my
progeny. Our Lord, accept my prayer.”
17:78 You shall hold the communion at the setting of the sun until the
darkness of the night; and the Qur’an at dawn; the Qur’an at dawn is
witnessed.
17:110 Say: “Call on God or call on the Almighty; by whichever you call
on, to Him are the best names.” And do not be too loud in making your
communion, nor too quiet; but seek a path in between.
19:31 “And He made me blessed wherever I was, and He charged me
with the communion and towards betterment as long as I am alive.”
19:55 And he used to instruct his family with the communion and
towards betterment, and his Lord was pleased with him.
19:59 Then generations came after them who lost the communion, and
followed desires. They will find their consequences.
20:14 “I am God, there is no god but Me, so serve Me and hold the
communion for My remembrance.”
20:132 And instruct your family with the communion, and be patient for
it. We do not ask you for provision, for We provide for you. And the good
end is for the righteous.
21:73 And We made them leaders who guide by Our command, and
We inspired them to do good work and uphold the communion and
contribute towards betterment, and they were in service to Us.
22:35 Those who, when God is mentioned, their hearts revere, and they
are patient to what befalls them, and they uphold the communion, and
from what We provide them they spend.
22:40 The ones who were driven out of their homes without justice,
except that they said: “Our Lord is God!” And if it were not for God
defending the people against themselves, then many places of gathering,
and markets, and communions, and temples where the name of God is
frequently mentioned, would have been destroyed. God will give victory
to those who support Him. God is Powerful, Noble.
22:41 Those whom if We allow them authority in the land, they uphold
the communion, and they contribute towards betterment, and deter from
evil. And to God is the conclusion of all matters.
22:78 And strive in the cause of God its truly deserved striving. He is
the One who has chosen you, and He has made no hardship for you in
the system, the creed of your father Abraham; He is the One who named
you ‘those who have submitted’ from before as well as in this. So let the
messenger be witness over you and you be witness over the people. So
uphold the communion and contribute towards betterment and hold
tight to God, He is your patron. What an excellent Patron, and what an
excellent Supporter.
23:2 Those who are humble when making their communion.
23:9 And those who maintain their communions.
24:37 Men who are not distracted by trade or sale from the remembrance
of God and holding the communion, and contributing towards betterment.
They fear a Day when the hearts and sight will be overturned.
24:41 Do you not see that everything in the heavens and the Earth
glorifies God? Even the birds in formation, each knows its communion
and its glorification. And God is fully aware of everything they do.
24:56 And uphold the communion and contribute towards betterment,
and obey the messenger, that you may attain mercy.
24:58 O you who believe, let those who are committed to you by oath,
and those who have not yet attained puberty, request your permission
regarding three times: before the dawn communion, and when you put
off your attire from the noon time, and after the evening communion.
These are three private times for you. Other than these times, it is not
wrong for you or them to intermingle with one another. God thus clarifies
the revelations for you. And God is Knowledgeable, Wise.
27:3 Those who uphold the communion, and contribute towards
betterment, and regarding the Hereafter they are certain.
29:45 Recite what is inspired to you of the Scripture, and hold the
communion, for the communion prohibits evil and vice; but certainly
the remembrance of God is the greatest. God knows everything you do.
30:31 Turn to Him, and be aware of Him, and uphold the communion,
and do not be of those who set up partners.
31:4 Those who uphold the communion, and contribute towards
betterment and regarding the Hereafter they are certain.
31:17 “O my son, hold the communion and advocate righteousness and
forbid evil, and bear with patience whatever befalls you. These are the
most honorable traits.”
33:33 You shall settle down in your homes, and do not go about like in
the old days of ignorance. You shall hold the communion, and contribute
towards betterment, and obey God and His messenger. God wishes to
remove any affliction from you, O people of the Dwelling, and to purify
you completely.
33:43 He is the One who communes over you, along with His angels, to
lead you out of darkness into the light. And He is ever Merciful towards
the believers.
33:56 God and His angels commune upon the prophet. O you who
believe, you shall commune uopn him, and comply completely.
35:18 And none can carry the load of another, and even if it calls on
another to bear part of its load, no other can carry any part of it, even
if they were related. You will only be able to warn those who fear their
Lord while unseen, and they uphold the communion. And whoever
contributes, is contributing for himself. And to God is the final destiny.
35:29 Surely, those who recite God’s Scripture, and uphold the
communion, and spend secretly and openly from what We have provided
them, they are seeking a trade that can never lose.
42:38 And those who have responded to their Lord, and they uphold
the communion, and their affairs are conducted by mutual consultation
among themselves, and from Our provisions to them they give.
58:13 Are you reluctant to offer a charity before such meeting? If you
cannot do such, and God has forgiven you; then you shall uphold the
communion, and contribute towards betterment, and obey God and His
messenger. God is fully Aware of everything you do.
62:9 O you who believe, if the communion is called to on the day of
assembly, then you shall hasten towards the remembrance of God, and
cease all selling. This is better for you, if you only knew.
62:10 Then, once the communion is complete, you shall disperse through
the land and seek God’s provisions, and remember God frequently that
you may succeed.
70:22 Except for those who commune.
70:23 Who are steadfast to their communion.
70:34 And those who are constant to their communion.
73:20 Your Lord knows that you rise a little less than two thirds of the night,
and half of it, and one third of it, as well as a group of those who
are with you. And God measures the night and the day. He knows that
you will not be able to keep-up, so He pardons you. So read what is made
easy of the Qur’an. He knows that there will be sick among you, and
others that go forth in the land seeking from God’s bounty, and others
who are fighting in the cause of God, so read what you can of it. And
uphold the communion and contribute towards betterment and give God
a loan of righteousness. And whatever you put forth yourselves, you will
find it with God, for it is better and a greater reward. And seek God’s
forgiveness, for God is Forgiving, Merciful.
74:43 They said: “We were not of those who communed.”
75:31 For he did not believe nor commune.
87:15 And remembers the name of his Lord, and communes.
96:10 A servant from communing?
98:5 And they were not commanded except to serve God and be loyal
to His system, monotheists, and uphold the communion and contribute
towards betterment. Such is the valuable system.
107:4 So woe to those who commune,
107:5 But to their communion they are absent minded.
108:2 Therefore, you shall commune to your Lord and sacrifice.

Introduce Yourself / Aint much to it
« on: January 28, 2009, 04:03:28 AM »
Ive always been spiritual since i was around fifteen, always reading the bible till i learned about Islam in history class. Ill admit, being so young then, the idea of four wives and fighting for God was very appealing lol, so when i the subject of Islam came up i immediately ordered my own Quran and read it. I think it was easier to read the Quran then it was the bible. while i was reading the Quran I referenced the Bible to some of the verses i read, like how Jesus was not God or Gods son, i remembered the verse in the NT where Jesus said that we can be the sons of God too which to me implied that when Jesus says hes the son of God, hes saying hes the spiritual son of God as we are all the children of God (spiritually). Also Islam makes more sense for example, Jesus said when someone strikes you to turn the other cheek, and preached against any violence at all, well if thats true then how did christians with such clear verses conquer all those people or go to war at all period. In Islam we are allowed to defend ourselves (jihad), which makes a lot more sense then just turning the other cheek, because then we could be wiped out completely. Anyways, to the point, after reading more and more, especially the articles on this site and a few others, i have come to the conclusion that Quran only Islam is the true religion, I am proud to say i am a Quranite. Well thats my story, thanks for readin.

Projects / Conferences / Events / A Islamic Committee
« on: January 26, 2009, 07:10:40 AM »
Whats holding us back from creating a committee dedicated to the building of our own community. If we made a committee to control the funds of its members, they could start buying land in america and start constructing homes on the land within a few years. And after the community is stable enough we can start pitching in to bring our brothers and sisters from the intolerant nations out there, give them a home and school them in english and really give them a great oppurtunity. I see nothing holding us back from this at all, all we need is someone charismatic enough to start this, and a strong commitment from its members (donations, volunteers...). what do all of you think?

p.s. - i know it kinda sounds like those compounds the mormons have lmao, but of course we will not be using the book of mormon and joseph smith as our guide lmfao
