Where in the Qur'an does Islam encourage World Domination?

World Domination is part of the Daru 'l-Harb doctrine of Islam. This Doctrine comes out of verses in the quran that says the world belongs to Allah. There are also hadeths that say it. Most muslims take this as meaning all the world must be converted to Islam

[22:64-65] To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. Absolutely, Allah is the Most Rich, Most Praiseworthy. Do you not see that Allah has committed in your service everything on earth?

[31:26]To Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. He is the Rich, the Praised.

[57:10] And what cause have ye why ye should not spend in the cause of Allah?- For to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth

[22:58-59] Those who emigrate for the sake of Allah, then get killed, or die, Allah will surely shower them with good provisions. Allah is certainly the best Provider. Most assuredly, He will admit them an admittance that will please them. allah is Omniscient, Clement.

[22:78] You shall strive for the cause of Allah as you should strive for His cause. He has chosen you and has placed no hardship on you in practicing your religion

Daru 'l-Harb is the doctrine (found in the hadith as well as in the Qur'an) that the earth belongs to Allah and to his Messenger. In the Qur'an Allah promises the world to his followers. This leads to the idea that jihad is a defensive war - liberating what already belongs to Allah and to his Umma. Hence the Muslims by waging jihad are taking back what is theirs. Even the whole world.

Since the world belongs to the Allah, any power that prevents them from having it is by definition oppressive, and upsurping the Umma's rights.

In the early hadiths, Umar says to his generals: When you will take the land that God gives you, back... . This means that jihad - even ?offensive? jihad is ALWAYS a defensive war of liberation. This is one of the theological factors that makes discussion of jihad so confusing.

This concept of the world belonging to Allah and his Messenger then became formalized into the doctrine of Daru 'l-Harb.

Definition of DARU 'L-HARB
DARU 'L-HARB.  "The land of warfare." According to the Dictionary Ghiyasu 'l-Lughat Daru 'l-harb is "a country belonging to the infidels which has not been subdued by Islam." According to the Qamus, it is "a country in which peace has not been proclaimed between Muslims and unbelievers.

In the Fatawa Alamgiri, vol. ii. p. 854, it is written that a Daru 'l-harb becomes a Daru 'l-Islam on one condition, namely the promulgation of the edicts of Islam. The Imam Muhammad, in his book called the Ziyadah, says a Daru 'l-Islam again becomes a Daru 'l-harb, according to Abu Hanifah, on three conditions, namely (1) That the edicts of the unbelievers be promulgated, and the edicts of Islam be suppressed; (2) That country in question be adjoining a Daru 'l-harb and no other Muslim country lie between them (that is, when the duty of Jihad or religious war becomes incumbent upon them, and they have not the power to carry it on). (3) That no protection (aman) remains for either a Muslim or a zimmi; viz. that amanu 'l-awwal, or that first protection which was given them when the country was first conquered by Islam. The Imams Yusuf and Muhammad both say that when the edicts of unbelievers are promulgated in a country, it is sufficient to constitute it a Daru 'l-harb.

Definition DARU 'L-ISLAM
DARU 'L-ISLAM  "Land of Islam." According to the Raddu 'l Mukhtar, vol. iii. p. 391, it is a country in which the edicts of Islam are fully promulgated.

In a state brought under Muslims, all those who do not embrace the faith are placed under certain disabilities. They can worship God according to their own customs provided they are not idolaters; but it must be done without any ostentation and whilst churches and synagogues may be repaired, no new place of worship can be erected. "The construction of churches and synagogues in Muslim territory is unlawful, this being forbidden in the Traditions; but if the places of worship belonging to Jews, or Christians, be destroyed, or fall into decay, they are at liberty to repair them because buildings cannot endure forever."

General Issues / Questions / Are Human Beings Perfect?
« on: December 23, 2003, 09:52:34 AM »
Quote from: "Damon"

GOD is Perfect. He makes absolutely no mistakes. His creation is...perfect???

If His creation is so perfect, then how do we explain njn6d4's dilemma? How do we explain mental retardation? How do we explain siamese twins? How do we explain people born with a limb missing or dwarfism? How do we explain people born with both sex organs and don't which one they are meant to be if GOD's creation is perfect?

Human beings are perfect? Or are human beings perfect for something? These two ideas are different. What did the quran tell you?

I tell you that homo sapiens make perfect piranha food but they are nowhere near the perfection of being.

Quote from: "Damon"

We tend to forget just how perfectly GOD has designed and created us and the entire universe. When I was a kid, whenever I would see someone that society considers "Abnormal" I would always do two things:

I cannot fathom how you could agree to that conclusion. If our design was perfect then how could it be that some of our organs have no use, like the appendix? How is it that we can make it ?more? perfect by circumcizing men? How is it that some people are better than others? How is it that we make mistakes? Grow old?

Quote from: "Damon"

I apologize to everyone here for what I'm about to say, as I said before this is just my personal theory.

I wonder if GOD allows these things to happen to serve as a reminder to us just how Perfect He really is. In other words, if there were no Divine design behind our creation, would the majority of mankind be born as perfectly as we are? Two arms, two legs, a beating heart, mental faculties, a nose through which we breath. Even minute things such as fingernails, eyelashes and passing waste, urine or gas serve a purpose to our well being.

However wont that also remind you the CRUELTY of your hypothetical God?

Quote from: "Damon"

I would always express an inner gratitude for my own state, but I would also ask GOD "Why not me?" Why do that to someone who is innocent and hasn't done anything to anybody? So on the one hand I would be grateful, but on the other hand I wanted to know "Why?"?

Your really want to know why? Doesnt the quran give you a hint? Christians have an answer to that question.

Quote from: "Damon"

GOD knows best and may He guide me and correct me if my thinking process is wrong.

The quran found the space to praise mohammed and command muslims to bless this dead man. And yet failed to give an answer to your very important question and thus leaving you walking in the dark and conjuring your own theories. This is very wrong.

Yugoslavia was just minding its own business. It was committing genocide on its MUSLIM population. And Nato led by the American's intervened, violated Yugoslavia's sovereignty and bombed the Land into submission. All to save muslim butt.

Question is where were the muslim whiners who keep complaining today about "violation of sovereignty"? Hypocrites.

General Issues / Questions / What is the name of your God?
« on: December 17, 2003, 02:55:55 PM »
In the Torah the name of God is YHVH. Nobody living today know the true pronounciation of that word. For in the past only high priests could pronounce that name at very special occassions. All in accordance to the command "Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord your God in vain".

Ok now in the quran what did it say the name of Allah?

Discuss Latest News/Events / LOTR Gimli raises axe for Western civilization
« on: December 17, 2003, 02:19:39 PM »
Perhaps the most passionate observations came from John Rhys-Davies, who plays the dwarf Gimli and voices Treebeard the Ent. Focusing on the necessity of defending civilization in times of crisis, Rhys-Davies took the media to task for failing to appreciate the preciousness of Western civilization, and warned of the potential consequences of rising Muslim extremism and the increasingly Islamic face of Europe.

?I think that Tolkien says that some generations will be challenged,? said Rhys-Davies, ?and if they do not rise to meet that challenge, they will lose their civilization. That does have a real resonance with me.?

Pointing a finger at the media, Rhys-Davies went on, ?What is unconscionable is that too many of your fellow journalists do not understand how precarious Western civilization is, and what a jewel it is? The abolition of slavery comes from Western democracy. True democracy comes from our Greco-Judeo-Christian Western experience. If we lose these things, then this is a catastrophe for the world.?

Rhys-Davies revealed that as far back as 1955 his father had predicted that ?the next World War will be between Islam and the West.? The actor recalled his response: ?I said to him, ?Dad, you?re nuts! The Crusades have been over for hundreds of years!? And he said, ?Well, I know, but militant Islam is on the rise again. And you will see it in your lifetime.? He?s been dead some years now. But there?s not a day that goes by that I don?t think of him and think, ?God, I wish you were here, just so I could tell you that you were right.??

Looking at the lone female journalist at the table, Rhys-Davies said pointedly, ?You should not be in this room [according to Muslim custom]. Because your husband or your father or your husband is not here to guide you. You could only be here in this room with these strange men for immoral purposes.?

Rhys-Davies went on to contemplate the significance of demographic shifts among Western Europeans and Muslims in Europe. ?There is a demographic catastrophe happening in Europe that nobody wants to talk about, that we daren?t bring up because we are so cagey about not offending people racially. And rightly we should be. But there is a cultural thing as well? By 2020, fifty percent of the children in Holland under the age of 18 will be of Muslim descent?

?And don?t forget, coupled with this there is this collapse of numbers. Western Europeans are not having any babies. The population of Germany at the end of the century is going to be 56% of what it is now. The populations of France, 52% of what it is now. The population of Italy is going to be down 7 million people.

?There is a change happening in the very complexion of Western civilization in Europe that we should think about at least and argue about. If it just means the replacement of one genetic stock with another genetic stock, that doesn?t matter too much. But if it involves the replacement of Western civilization with a different civilization with different cultural values, then it is something we really ought to discuss ? because, [hang it all], I am for dead-white-male culture!?

His fellow filmmakers might not all agree, but Tolkien would have applauded.
