General Issues / Questions / Evoking Ancestrial Spirits
« on: August 07, 2012, 03:35:22 PM »
As-Salaam Alaikum,

I would like to know what would be the ruling (halal or haraam) on evoking ancestrial spirits in light of the Qur'an only. A few examples:

1. Evoking the spiritual presence of ancestors during a rites of passage ceromony.

2. Evoking ancestrial spirits during meditation for guidance or wisdom.

3. Contact and communication with jinn.

Thanks!

As-Salaam Alaikum,

One love to the ummah and Ramadan Kareem to those obeserving it. While on Facebook I had a fellow Muslim brother post an article up about the true timing of Ramadan and his explaination raised my interest enough to post it here on this site and get your opinions on if his science holds any weight or truth.

For a heads up, the author has an obvious bias towards Arabs, and his views do not reflect my own concerning that, the focus is on what he is saying about the timing of Ramadan.

"The Month of Ramadan in which is revealed in it the Qur'aan guidance for Man and the Clear proofs from the Guide and the Criterion for Judgment" Surah 2 Al baqarah ayah 185.
The marking of the 4 sacred periods and the 12 periods of calculation denotes the solar and sidereal calendars and 4 tropical shifts (seasons) made by the earth in its revolution due to its 23.5 degree inclination to the plane of its orbit. Simply put since the earth is 23.5 degrees tilted it causes seasons...4 of them and these seasons are celestial rhythms. They are time markers and markers for how celestial rhythms impact human consciousness and thus were given attention in order to give a divine prescription for society about how to behave in these shifts.
The prohibition of the Nasi in Islam is very misunderstood. The early inscriptions in Yemen display both lunar and solar counts for the Asiatics Blacks of Arabia. The adding of a month (called Nasi) by early Muslims was actually an error based on a lack of understanding how the lunar tropical/solar and sidereal calendars operated together. The ayat of Surah 9 clearly depict the 4 seasons and 12 period tropical/solar year. The revelation of this verse was made to prohibit not only the Nasi (adding of a month to the lunar calendar). It is clearly made to harmonize the calendar system by introducing a clear indication of the tropical/solar via the discussion of the solstices and equinoxes which are called the 4 periods that are sacred 'hurum' (Minhaa aarba’at hurum. Dhaalika ad-deen al-qayeem) (HQ9:36).
 Surah 9:36
•Inna addat ash-shuhoori inda Allah aathnaa ashara shahran fee kitaabi Allah yaum khalaqa as-samaawaati wa al-aard.
 • Minhaa aarba’at hurum. Dhaalika ad-deen al-qayeem. Falaa tazlimuu fee hinna aanfusakum. Wa qaatiluu al-mushrikeena
 • kaafat kamaa yuqaatiloonakum kaafaatin. Wa aa’lmoo anna Allah ma’a al-mutaqeena

•Surely the Calculation of Time Periods with Allah is Twelve Periods in Allah’s Record.
 • A period in which he creates the Heavens and the Earth. Of these four
 • are Sacred. This is the interpretation of the upright, so do not wrong your
 • souls in them. And make war with the polytheists in unity, as they will make war with
 • you in unity. And have full knowledge that Allah is present amongst those who keep
 • their spiritual obligations

The charting of this Sirius based sidereal calendar and tropical/solar calendar in the Quran is verified in Surah 53 and others 2, Surah 70, Surah 97, Surah 34, and many other Surahs. Specifically Surah 53 charts the start of Ramadan in the first verse when it states
"By the Star when it sets"
This star is Sirius, which is mentioned later directly in ayah 49.
The verses that follow discuss Nabi Muhammad's receiving of the initial ayah of Qur'aan from Jabriyl and the vision of the lote tree (symbolizing the 'World Tree of Indigenous Tradition and sciences Celestial Magnetic Field aka Unified Field)
The problem with those Muslims who have been deceived is the pale Arab embellishment of sighting new moons, which according to Surah 2:189 is for allegedly calculating Hajj NOT RAMADAN. We have via this small writing proved that new moons and a lunar calendar cannot be used for Ramadan’s calculation based on the ayat of Qur'aan. In reference to the Al Aahillati, which is translated as new moons...ill simply say I take the preliminary position that the translation of Aahillati as meaning new moons is false. The word for moon in this language is Qamar (See Surah 54-Al Qamar) and Al Aahillati is the root word Aahl, which means the family and lineage of the Nabi, or Hall, which is a negation. Ill leave the complete discussion for this point on the Aahillati for another writing as it is insignificant to verses discussing Ramadan as the Aahillati is not in those verses discussing Ramadan.
It is true that Most Muslims do not follow Qur'aan, they follow the alleged scholars' interpretation only with NO SUPPORTING PROOFS and this body of non-Qur’aanic information invented by the pale Arabs is called HADITH. It is a fact that the Qur'aan condemns these hadith in several locations

The actual words from the Qur’an state that time of the year for Ramadan was sighted by ‘the hawaa’ of a star, not by the sighting of the moon. This star is later mentioned as Al Shiraa, the Sirius star system. We have already provided an in depth discussion on the sidereal luni-solar calendar of our lineage and its use in the time of Muhammad. Muhammad was directed to the use of this sidereal calendar as it was the most ancient Astronomical calendar system devised by his lineage and it was this group of scientists who reimplemented this system via the advent of Islam and Muhammad. A solar-tropical aspect was reinstituted with four (4) seasons ( See Surah 9:36) (traditionally called by the Muhajirrin…spring=Al sayf, summer=Qayz, autumn=Rabi, winter=Al-Shita). Understanding the interface between the Manzil lunar-sidereal calendar and the Solar-Tropical calendar of four (4) seasons both advocated by the Authors of the Qur’an and how they interplayed is the key to understanding the origin of this calendar as specified in its associations with its earlier derivatives. Those sources are the so called Paris Codex of our Xi (Olmec Mayan) ancestors in America, the Ica Stone Calendar of this same American Xi (Amaru) lineage, and the general calendar keeping of the oldest lineage on Earth. What we will show from Glyphs, that prove based their geography, to be over 50,000 fifty-thousand years old (This 50K year time period is mentioned in Qur’an Surah 70 ayah 4) is that this calendar system and time of the year (Ramadan) is from a very old tradition initiating in America and spreading into Africa and Asia. It is also at the root of understanding this new Book that is the Umm-il Kitaab (Source Book), which we have expressed through a Cosmological system of 13 sign cards in 4 sets according to there Cosmological elements, which when mathematically formulated using a 13:20 tarot system make 91 spreads which can be used to ‘read’ anything and anyone. Every person, group, nation, event, planet, star, element etc… has a symbol and thus can be tracked and explained based on this calendar system. It is the oldest Spiritual System on Earth and it is with Us.
The manzil system is accurately accounted for in the Qur’an in Surah 10 ayat 5. Its states,
(ayah 5)“ He is the One who made the Sun a light giving object and the Moon a reflecting light and measured for it (manaazil) stages so that you will know a count (‘adad) for the computing (al hisaab) of the year (al siniyna from root sana). And Allah created this only in truth, and he makes the verses clear for the knowledgable people.
The manzils are 28 in number and come every 13 days. Essentially the Moon (Al Qamar) is stationed in one of these fixed stations based on sidereal science or using the fixed stars for measurement. After 7 periods of 13 days, the seasons are beginning to change. This seven periods of thirteen equals 91 days a season (4 of which make up the solar-tropical year-See Surah 9:36). This 91 number is also the number of Tzulkin Xi Tarot spreads needed to measure for prophetic sciences. I have found only 2 Books on earth that cite these spreads and have found no one except myself who can lay all 90 out from the what I call the Magnetic Book, spread by spread. According to the closed circles I have had discussion with, this science was apart of an ancient curriculum of sciences taught to these people call Al-Aanbiyaa (The Prophets or Governors). I would agree from using it.
The use of the 12-month 4 season tropical year was used in conjunction with the lunar stellar 28 mansion 13 day manzil system to compute time. The erroneous discussion of the Nasi and intercalation of months amongst the pale Arabs-Aravs is a production of these pale Arabs (aravs) who are descendants of the Sassanians Lakmids Ghassinids Harranians and other groups of pale Arabs-Aravs who were nomadic Bedouins (Of Aryan Hindu origin). They have erroneously attempted to make additions of ignorance to our Indigenous Systems. Others are simply practicing intentional deception. It matters not for the time to know these things is present."

General Issues / Questions / Warsh Arabic Qur'an
« on: February 13, 2012, 07:14:43 PM »
As-Salaam Alaikum,

I am looking for the actual Al-Qur'an in Arabic the Warsh one but I cannot find a place to find one. Darrusalaam sells the Arabic Al-Qur'an here: http://store.dar-us-salam.com/MushafUthmani/Q40d.html but it does not specify whether it is Warsh or Hafs. Since Darrusalaam seems to support Wahabism, I take it that the Al-Qur'an they are selling is Hafs. So does anyone know where I can get the Warsh Al-Qur'an from?

General Issues / Questions / The Illuminator
« on: February 09, 2012, 07:24:23 PM »
As-Salaam Alaikum,

I know that a few of you are opposed to my idea that the Gnostics and Gnosticism are linked to Islam, but I wanted to share something that I found tonight while I was studying that further confirms in my opinion that the idea of the two being linked or even one in the same is true.

From the Apocalypse of Adam (A Gnostic Text):

"But the generation without a king says that God chose him (the Illuminator) from all the eternal realms. He caused knowledge of the one of truth, who is undefiled, to reside in him. He said, 'Out of a foreign air, from a huge eternal realm, the great illuminator appeared. And he made the generation of those people whom he had chosen for himself shine, so that they should shine upon the whole eternal realm.'"

^Just to give some background about the above quote, it is Adam informing his son Seth of one who shall come in the future with knowledge of the true God (Allah). He is called "the Illuminator" because he will illuminate (enlighten, give knowledge, gnosis) the world about the true God (Allah) and he was chosen above all the eternal realms i.e. all of creation.

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) perfectly fits this description for he brought the right knowledge of the true God (Allah) to the world in the form of the Qur'an, and he was also chosen above all of creation for such a task. The Qur'an says the following:

"Indeed, there has come to you from Allah a light (Prophet Muhammad SAW ) and a plain Book (this Quran)." - al-Qur'an 5:15

A number of classic Quranic exegetes have said the light mentioned in the above ayat is Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and it seems that the Mushin Khan translators (the translation I used) are also in agreement with this position.

Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti: "It is the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace)" (Tafsir al-Jalalayn, 139).

Ibn Jarir al-Tabari: "By Light He means Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace), through whom Allah has illuminated the truth, manifested Islam, and obliterated polytheism; since he is a light for whoever seeks illumination from him, which makes plain the truth" (Jami' al-bayan, 6.161).

Fakhr al-Razi: "There are various positions about it, the first being that the Light is Muhammad, and the Book is the Quran " (al-Tafsir al-kabir, 11:194).

al-Baghawi: "It means Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace), or, according to a weaker position, Islam" (Ma'alam al-Tanzil, 2.228).

Qurtubi (Ahkam al-Quran , 6.118) and Mawardi (al-Nukat wa al-'uyun, 2.22) mention that interpreting Nur as "Muhammad" (Allah bless him and give him peace) was also the position by [the Imam of Arabic grammar Ibrahim ibn Muhammad] al-Zajjaj (d. 311/923).

Also, while all the Prophets (may peace be upon them all) were chosen by Allah to bring light to their people, only Muhammad (pbuh) was chosen to be the Prophet and the light for 'Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exist). The Qur'an also says this:

"O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And one who invites to Allah , by His permission, and an illuminating lamp." - al-Qur'an 33:45-46

When thought about, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the only person in history to perfectly fit the description given in the Gnostic text the "Apocalypse of Adam" and the ayats in the Qur'an reinforce the same idea. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is The Illuminator.

General Issues / Questions / Judgement Day & The Resurrection
« on: January 26, 2012, 03:45:04 PM »
As-Salaam Alaikum,

I'd like to know everyone's views concerning Judgement Day and the Resurrection. Are they suppose to be something that happens at the end of time? Is the physical body resurrected?

My personal beliefs on the matter is that the Resurrection is something that happens at the moment your physical body perishes. Your physical body dies but your spirit is resurrected in the astral (spirit) realm. You are then judged based on your deeds and then you are either given paradise, or the hellfire (what exactly those two are is a different discussion). So basically, I believe the Resurrection and Judgement Day to happen at the moment of ones death, rather than at a point in history i.e. the end of time. This is from my belief that there is no end of time, that life and existence is eternal.

Not sure if my belief is supported by the Qur'an or not, so I'd like to hear peoples views on the matter.

As-salaam Alaikum

I bring this topic up based on a post from another brother here on the forums.

We are told to believe in the previous scriptures, not disbelieve in them. It might seem that Muslims like to show how the bible is so called corrupt, but to me it might just show their unlettered minds. Many of the so called contraditions of the bible have to deal with the number of things. Many of them are in the translations, not in the original text. (See refutations against so called "contraditions).

Jesus had to know Hebrew, even if it was not his native language, since he was taught the Torah

I find it quite odd when fellow Muslims try to defend the authencity of the Bible. Not only is it historically inaccurate to claim that the Bible is the original scriptures revealed to the Prophets, it also goes against the very teachings of the Qur'an. As this isn't the first time I heard of such, I decided to present the proof so that insha'Allah we can clear the error on the subject and seperate the falsehood from the truth.

Evidence from the Qur'an:

"So because of their breach of their covenant, We cursed them, and made their hearts grow hard. They change the words from their (right) places and have abandoned a good part of the Message that was sent to them. And you will not cease to discover deceit in them, except a few of them. But forgive them, and overlook (their misdeeds). Verily, Allah loves Al-Muhsinun (good-doers)." - al-Qur'an 5:13

"O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Now has come to you Our Messenger (Muhammad SAW) explaining to you much of that which you used to hide from the Scripture and passing over (i.e. leaving out without explaining) much. Indeed, there has come to you from Allah a light (Prophet Muhammad SAW ) and a plain Book (this Quran)." - al-Qur'an 5:15

"Verily, those who conceal the clear proofs, evidences and the guidance, which We have sent down, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book, they are the ones cursed by Allah and cursed by the cursers." - al-Qur'an 2:159

"But those among them who did wrong changed the word that had been told to them. So We sent on them a torment from heaven in return for their wrong-doings." - al-Qur'an 7:162

So as you can see here, the Qur'an confirms the fact that the previous scriptures were altered and change by the hands of men, and that is what today is the Bible.

From a historical standpoint:

The Old Testament, or more specifically the first five books of it (today called the Torah) cannot be the Words (Revelation) of Allah to Musa (pbuh) (The Tawrat) because for the most obvious reason it speaks about the death of Musa (pbuh). How could this be the Torah revealed to Musa (pbuh) when it narrates his own death? Also, the Revelation to Musa (pbuh) would have dealt with him and his people during his time and would not have included in narrative detail the stories of Adam (pbuh) up to Musa (pbuh), though they would have been mentioned briefly in the way the Qur'an mentions them.

The New Testament, or rather the four Gospels cannot be the Words (Revelation) of Allah to Isa (pbuh) because of a similar reason, they speak of Isa's (pbuh) birth and supposed death. How then can they be the Words of Allah as revealed to Isa (pbuh) when they are a narrative?

Also, it is historical fact that the Gospels Matthew and Luke come from an earlier source, known as the Q document, which alone proves that neither are the original Gospel as taught by Isa (pbuh). The Gospel of Mark is also known to have been earlier than both Matthew and Luke and the Gospel of John is dramatically different in style and tone than the other three. Not to mention the fact of all the other gospels that existed before the canonization of the New Testament in 375AD, over 300 years after Isa (pbuh) accended from this plane. These gospels include:

Gospel of Peter
Gospel of Bartholomew
Gospel of Mary
Gospel of the Hebrews
Gospel of Judas
Gospel of the Ebionites
Gospel of Thomas

Just to name a few but there was also many more. As Isa (pbuh) was the living Word of Allah, Isa's (pbuh) sayings alone would have been the Gospel as revealed by Allah and the closest we have to that today is the Gospel of Thomas which contains no narrative but only 114 sayings of Isa (pbuh).

So what is the Bible today? I wouldn't say it's complete falsehood, for there is truth within it burried underneath much falsehood, but it is for sure not the previous scriptures as revealed by Allah. The Old Testament is a narrative written by man that takes things from the previous scriptures (The Scrolls of Ibraham, The Tawrat (Torah), and The Zaur (Psalms)) and compiles them together in a narrative that is written and worded in a way to fit the ideology of it's authors, also leaving out information that was given in the Revelations from Allah. The New Testament is a narrative that narrates the story of Isa's (pbuh) life, also written and worded in a way to fit the ideology of it's authors, along with numerous letters written by Paul, which have nothing to do with the Gospel revealed by Allah at all.

This standpoint is both in agreement with the ayats given in the Qur'an by Allah along with historical information. It is safe to say that the previous scriptures were corrupted, and what we have today in the form of the Bible are not the Revealed scriptures of Allah.

On a side note to brother youssef4342: Aramaic was not only the language of Isa (pbuh), it was also the language of Ibraham (pbuh) and Musa (pbuh). Old Aramaic developed around the 14th century B.C. and was influenced by Proto-Canaanite language. Hebrew was developed much later during the Babylonian Exile somewhere around the 6th and 3rd centuries B.C. from Old Aramaic. Thus since Aramaic was the language spoken by Ibraham (pbuh), Musa (pbuh) and Isa (pbuh) the Tawrat (Torah) as revealed by Allah would have been in the Aramaic language and thus Isa (pbuh) would have also learned the Tawrat (Torah) in Aramaic, having what I said posted in my other thread "Allah Is Lucifer" concerning Isa's (pbuh) rightful name to be true. General Issues / Questions / Return Of Christ?
« on: January 10, 2012, 05:55:48 PM »
As-Salaam Alaikum

I was wondering what was everyones thoughts on the second coming of Christ? Does the Qur'an mention a second coming?

I know must Muslims when asked to give proof from the Qur'an they use this ayat:

“And (Jesus) shall be a sign (for the coming of) the Hour (of Judgement): Therefore have no doubt about the (Hour) but follow ye Me: this is a Straight Way.” (Az Zukhruf 43.61)

However, this verse does not clearly say that Christ will return. To my knowledge, Muslims get their theology of the Second Coming from hadiths which also mention Iman al-Mahdi and the Dajjal, both which are also not mentioned in the Qur'an.

My personal opinion is that belief in a Second Coming not only holds no weight but is also unnecessary and in a way dangerous. It gives the excuse for man to hit idle by and let the wrong doing in the world continue in hope that a man from the sky will come save them instead of man taking responsibility himself, and it open the door for the world to be under one "supreme" ruler.

I honestly don't feel the need for Christ to come back to rule the world. I don't think it'd solve anything because by human nature there will always be people that rebels against authority, not always out of spite or recklessness, but just from the feeling of not wanting to be ruled or told what to do by someone else no matter who they are. Everyone is entitled to be free and rule themselves (at least that's how it should be).

Myself politically an Anarchist, I also take the Gnostic approach in waiting for "the age without a king" to finally come. That is when I believe the world will know peace and unity, when there's a stateless, classless society working together as one without any authority figure or body. The world being ruled by one authority figure is called Fascism, which in my opinion is exactly what we don't need. Just because the name of the leader is Isa (pbuh) doesn't change the fact that the system he would be enforcing is Fascism.

General Issues / Questions / Allah Is Lucifer
« on: January 07, 2012, 11:07:49 AM »
As-salaam Alaikum

Lucifer - noun - Latin = "light bearer".

an-Nur - "The Light" = One of the 99 names of Allah

Ayat an-Nur

"Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His Light is a niche wherein is a lamp— the lamp is in a glass, the glass as it were a glittering star— lit from a blessed olive tree, neither eastern nor western, whose oil almost lights up, though fire should not touch it. Light upon light. Allah guides to His Light whomever He wishes. Allah draws parables for mankind, and Allah has knowledge of all things." - al-Qur'an 24:35

In esoteric symbology, light is always represented by divine presence, knowledge, and truth. Therefore, to bear or give light means to give knowledge and presence of the divine. Lucifer then is just that, the "knowledge bearer".

Refuting The Christian View of Lucifer - Satan vs. Lucifer

The Christian view of Lucifer as being an evil or fallen angel and even Satan himself is a gross corruption that has been propagated over the years due to people’s lack of understanding and the Christian leaders teaching misinformation. Lucifer is not evil nor Satan, or the Shaytan rather. Iblis is the Shaytan, as according to the Qur'an. Iblis is never called Lucifer (I know that Lucifer is Latin and the Qur'an is Arabic but there's still not an equivalent given for Lucifer in Arabic) nor is Iblis an angel, let alone a fallen angel.

Meaning of Satan: Satan (Shaytan) means "the opposer". This concept goes back to Ancient Kemet (Egypt) to the divinity Set. Set was the divinity of opposition. While Set would be an opposer to Heru (Horus), in the Ancient Egyptian's understanding he was not an evil deity. Set simply symbolized all opposing forces, which were necessary forces in the universe.

Satan is therefore not a proper name but a title. It is a name given to one opposing you. When your enemies come to oppress you, they are opposing you; therefore they are Shaytans to you. You are opposing them by defending yourself, in their eyes you are a Shaytan. Our fraud governments are "Set"anic for the way they treat the masses and the planet. Iblis however is a specific Shaytan.

Where does that leave Lucifer? Let's refer to the Adam and Eve as told in the Bible.

Though the two are similar, the stories of Adam and Eve as told in the Qur'an and Bible are significantly different in their esoteric deeper meanings. While one's setting is in a garden on Earth, the physical or material world (Bible), the other takes place in Jannah, not on Earth, the immaterial or spirit world (Qur'an).

The biblical account starts off with Adam and Eve being placed on Earth and being told by the biblical god YHWH not to eat from the Tree of Knowledge. YHWH claims that eating from the tree of KNOWLEDGE will cause Adam and Eve to die. The serpent however, tells Adam and Eve that they surely won't die, but rather become like YHWH. When they do eat from the tree, they do not die but rather their eyes are opened. When YHWH finds out they ate from the tree, YHWH acts out in jealousy and becomes angry and curses his creation and even admits that Adam and Eve have become like him (Genesis 3:22-24). Adam and Eve then spend the rest of their lives outside the garden away from the tree of LIFE. Notice how they did not die though when they ate the fruit like YHWH said they would. Yes, they eventually died, but it was not from the tree of KNOWLEDGE, it was because they were prevented from eating the tree of LIFE which would have made them eternal. All of this also takes place in the physical realm, the garden here on earth.

What we learn from the Biblical version of the tale is first YHWH lied to Adam and Eve and concealed the truth of the true nature of the tree of KNOWLEDGE, where the serpent told them the truth. Also, the serpent didn't force Adam and Eve to eat from the tree, nor did he tempt them. He simply told them the true nature of the fruit and let them decide what to do. The serpent gave Adam and Eve a CHOICE. YHWH however used FEAR and DECEPTION to prevent Adam and Eve from eating from the tree and to submit to him blindly. He didn't give them a choice, he wanted blind submission. When they didn't blindly submit to him, he cursed them and prevented them from life.

Now applying this story to real life, YHWH prevented Adam and Eve from KNOWLEDGE and kept them blind and ignorant. Who does this today? Does not "big brother" keep the masses blind and ignorant while holding knowledge from them? And when certain ones gain knowledge and don't submit to big brother, does he not then try to keep you away from life? Does not big brother use fear and lies to control the masses?

The serpent however rebelled and gave the KNOWLEDGE to Adam and Eve. This is like someone today who rebels against this world system and informs the masses of the true nature and intent of their corrupt government. Of course to “big brother”, someone doing such a thing is an enemy. That is why the serpent is called Set-an. So the serpent is not called "Satan" because it is evil or did anything wrong, but rather because it is an enemy to YHWH, in the sense that a truth speaker is an enemy or a "terrorist" to today’s corrupt governments or "big brother".

The Christians over time started to call the serpent "Lucifer". Again however, Lucifer is not a proper name but a title, Lucifer meaning "light bearer", light in an esoteric sense being equated with knowledge or "gnosis". The serpent is the one responsible for giving the "gnosis" or knowledge to Adam and Eve. Therefore, he was their "light bearer" or Lucifer. This is the reason Satan and Lucifer are always equated as being the same being, but again these are just titles. This is why in many cultures the serpent is not a symbol of anything evil at all, but rather a symbol of knowledge and wisdom. The Gnostics call the serpent Sophia, which means wisdom and is also feminine because the entire subject deals with the suppression of the divine feminine principle as well (I can go into detail about that later if you wish me to). Sophia was a revealer of gnosis who came from the true "god", the great Mother-Father who is ultimately above simply being a god, which is ultimately Allah.

Allah does not keep man ignorant nor prevents man from knowledge, but rather sends knowledge to man as guidance:

“Certainly, We have brought to them a Book (the Quran) which We have explained in detail with knowledge, - a guidance and a mercy to a people who believe.” – al-Qur’an 7:52

“And in their footsteps, We sent 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), confirming the Taurat (Torah) that had come before him, and We gave him the Injeel (Gospel), in which was GUIDANCE and LIGHT and confirmation of the Taurat (Torah) that had come before it, a guidance and an admonition for Al-Muttaqun (the pious)” – al-Qur’an 5:46

Now to briefly explain Allah and the Quranic version of the tale for clarity. First before the creation of the Earth, Allah announces He is creating Adam. When He does create Adam, He creates Adam in His image (meaning the light of Allah was within Adam) and tells all to prostrate to Adam. All do except for Iblis, who is jealous of Adam. Remember who acted with jealousy in the biblical tale? Adam is then placed in paradise where Allah tells Adam to avoid the tree of DESIRE. Iblis then appears to Adam and causes Adam to eat from the tree. Allah however is fully aware of what Adam has done but does not act in a vengeful way, but rather forgives Adam and clothes him, and then sends him to earth.

The major differences you have to understand here is first, unlike the biblical tale, all this takes place in the spirit realm, for in the Quranic version, paradise is in the spirit realm and not on earth like the Bible's Eden. Also, the name of the tree is different. It is not the tree of KNOWLEDGE; it is the tree of DESIRE. Since we are dealing with the spiritual sense, Allah was not trying to keep Adam away from knowledge; he was rather telling him to avoid his lower, carnal desires. Also, the way Allah reacted to what Adam had done is totally different. He does not get angry and vengeful, but forgives Adam and sends him to earth. Allah had full knowledge and preordained that Adam would eat the fruit of DESIRE so Adam being sent to earth was not a punishment, for that was in Allah's plan from the beginning when he announced that he was creating Adam to be viceroy on Earth. Allah then makes Adam aware that he would send him guidance. The Quranic tale ultimately demonstrates that Allah was in full control the entire time, was loving and forgiving, and was a guiding light rather than a being trying to conceal the truth from Adam.

“(Allah) said: ‘Get you down (from the Paradise to the earth), both of you, together, some of you are an enemy to some others. Then if there comes to you guidance from Me, then whoever follows My Guidance shall neither go astray, nor fall into distress and misery.’” – al-Qur’an 20:123

Now back to the biblical story, the serpent who is called Sophia by the Gnostics would be a clear example of Allah’s light and guidance being sent down to mankind on Earth in order to help against the oppression of this man made system that keeps the masses ignorant and expects blind submission through fear and deception and in which man or more specifically “the State” is god (the Jewish concept of YHWH, whom the Gnostics called the demiurge or “false god”, known in the modern day as “big brother”).

To briefly explain the difference between the concept of YHWH and the concept of Allah, the concept of YHWH is one who plays a flawed "big brother" figure while the concept of Allah is one who is in full control of everything good and/or evil, is loving and forgiving, and wants to give you the guidance and knowledge (or gnosis) to illuminate the light inside you. The Quranic version of the tale is the correct version of the story and the correct concept of the Most High, while the Biblical version is of a big brother being who its writers called YHWH who is ultimately a concepted entity like big brother who aides in the authors hidden agenda.

The Gnostics, who were often named “heretical” by the powers that be, were in actuality the true followers of the Prophet Isa (pbuh), who was also a Lucifer (light bearer):

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.’” – John 8:12

The Gnostics believed that Isa was not sent by YHWH but rather sent by the same One that had sent the serpent to Adam and Eve in the garden. This is true, for Isa (pbuh) said himself that the one he called “Father” was not the same as the Jew’s god:

“I am telling you what I have seen in the Father’s presence, and you are doing what you have heard from your father. ‘Abraham is our father,’ they answered. ‘If you were Abraham’s children,’ said Jesus, ‘then you would do what Abraham did. As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. You are doing the works of your own father.’ ‘We are not illegitimate children,’ they protested. ‘The only Father we have is God himself.’

Jesus said to them, ‘If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.”
– John 8:38-47 (NIV)

Those verses makes it clear that Isa (pbuh) was not sent by the one whom the Jews worshipped called YHWH, who he called the devil, but was sent by the True God whom the Jews had not known.

Many believe that the name “Yeshua” is the Hebrew name and proper name is Isa (pbuh) that means “YHWH saves”, which would in turn mean Isa (pbuh) was sent by YHWH, but this is false.

Taken from http://www.answering-christianity.com/name_of_jesus.htm :

Interestingly, the word "Yeshua" (meaning "safety" in the Hebrew language), whom Christians attempt to proselytize their theories of a "man-god" Jesus by saying this name of his meant "Salvation", does not have a static definition of "Salvation" but also means "Saved".

Another problem is that the type of "safety" which "yasha`" refers to is in a very worldly sense, and mostly having to do with being saved from the hands of Israel's worldly enemies. Every single usage of "yasha`" in the Bible has to do with warfare and violence. There is not a single reference to deliverance from sin, or salvation of the ethereal soul. It only refers to salvation of the physical body and life.”
Jesus spoke Aramaic. Thus, the New Testament would have to be dependent upon it. Much of the Old Testament was in Aramaic as well, and the earliest Christian societies throughout Arabia from Palestine, to Syria, to Nabataea spoke Aramaic. So what is Jesus' name in Aramaic?

"EESHO M'SHEEKHA" meaning Jesus the Messiah.

 - "Eesho M'sheekha" in Syriac. Syriac is a late variant of Aramaic widespread in Christendom, thus coined "Christian Aramaic".

 - "Eesho M'sheekha" in Aramaic, taken directly from the "Peshitta". The "Peshitta" is the Aramaic New Testament and closely resembles the language of Jesus.

Thus, Jesus would have even called himself "Eesho" or more specifically "`Eesaa" since the Northern Palestinian Jews pronounced the letter "shin" as "seen".

•The word "`EESA" ( ) in the Qur'an comes from "`EESHO" ( ) in Aramaic, a language which predates Hebrew by several hundred years and never had any etymological ties with the Hebrew derivative "YESHUA" ( ) or even the word "E'SAU" ( )

•Since the language Jesus (pbuh) spoke and taught was Aramaic, the Qur'an have accurately taken his name in Aramaic and not the Hebrew derivative, "YESHUA" ( )

•The name "YASO'A" ( ) for Jesus (pbuh) in the Arabic Bible is merely a transliteration of the Hebrew name "YESHUA" ( ) and is therefore fallacious to claim that this is the correct Arabic name of Jesus (pbuh) since as originally said, Hebrew is not Jesus' native tongue. Therefore, the Noble Verses which clearly states that the Qur'an is in pure Arabic remains unchallenged.

I would recommend reading the entire article about Isa’s (pbuh) proper name here:  http://www.answering-christianity.com/name_of_jesus.htm

The Gnostics spoke the truth of the Prophet Isa (pbuh) and were his true followers and it was for this reason why the Catholic Church labeled them heretics and violently persecuted them and destroyed many of their scriptures and gospels, and replaced them with gospels that deceived the masses into believing that YHWH was the god of Isa (pbuh). The truth however can still be found in the four gospels today by reading them with a correct understanding rather than the indoctrinated teachings of the Christian/Catholic Church, along with reading the Gnostic gospels and scriptures that did survive (which can be found in the Gnostic Bible - http://www.amazon.com/Gnostic-Bible-Revised-Expanded/dp/1590306317/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1325953906&sr=8-2 )

I’m sure many of you here on this site are well aware of the corruption and falsehood of the Catholic Church, and that it was only established as a means of controlling the masses (hence the State being god, the Catholic Church being agents of YHWH and the disbelieving Jews), so it should be fairly easy to see the hidden agenda behind the Catholic Church labeling the Gnostics as heretics and establishing the worship of Prophet Isa (pbuh) as god, leading to shirk.

Another Way The Gnostics Are Linked To Islam

While the Christians/Catholics believe that Isa (pbuh) was crucified on the cross, both the Gnostics and Muslims and the Qur’an are in agreement that this did not happen.

“And because of their saying (in boast), ‘We killed Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allah,’ - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of 'Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) ] But Allah raised him ['Iesa (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allah is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise.” – al-Qur’an 4:157-158

In the Second Treatise of the Great Seth (a Gnostic text), Isa (pbuh) says, "I did not die in reality, but in appearance. Those in error and blindness....saw me; they punished me. It was another, their father, who drank the gall and vinegar; it was not I. They struck me with the reed; it was another, Simon, who bore the cross on his shoulder. I was rejoicing in the height over all....And I was laughing at their ignorance."

Unlike the canonical gospels, Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection are not narrated and neither do any of the hundred and fourteen sayings in the Gospel of Thomas (a Gnostic gospel) directly refer to these events. Thomas's Jesus is a dispenser of wisdom, much like the traditional Muslim view of Isa (pbuh), not the crucified and resurrected Lord.

In the Muslim view, Isa (pbuh) was a mortal man who was the living Word of Allah sent to mankind for guidance. This is equivalent to the Gnostics view of Isa (pbuh) being a mortal man who brought “gnosis” (the Word of Allah) to mankind for guidance. Neither view alludes to Isa (pbuh) being sent to Earth as a human sacrifice to YHWH for the forgiveness of sins. To think that Allah would demand a human sacrifice for forgiveness is ludicrous to both the Muslim and the Gnostic.

In conclusion, Allah is indeed Lucifer, the giver of light, knowledge, and guidance for mankind based on the evidence provided. Over time, those who serve YHWH (“big brother”, the State) changed the original names, meanings and understandings to deceive the masses in order to control them and have the masses submit to them, the State. They took what was truly good and demonized the good so that the masses would turn away from the good and believe what the State presents to them is truly good, when it is the State that produces that which is actually evil. Interestingly enough, the Gospel of Phillip (another Gnostic gospel) even reveals this truth:

“The rulers wanted to fool us, since they saw we were connected with the good. They took the names of the good and gave them to the not good so with names they could trick and rope us to the not good. As though doing us a favor, they took names from the not good and placed them on the good. They knew what they were doing. They wanted to grab those of us who were free and make us eternal slaves.”

All praise is due to Allah for keeping His promise to send mankind guidance, presently in the form of the Qur’an, to make clear the truth from the falsehood.

Introduce Yourself / Hello

As-salaam Alaikum - M HTP

Peace brothers and sisters. I just joined this site after doing a Google search and being directed here and readng some of the discussions. It's looks like a pretty solid open minded community, so I decided to introduce myself.

I use to be a member over at the Wake Up Project forums (the creators of the online series "The Arrivals", if you've heard of it) but have recently left due to differences. Since then I've been looking for a new community to share ideas with so hopefully I have found the right one.  :)

I do consider myself Muslim, but I am not aligned to any one sect. I draw inspiration from all of them including the NOI and the "5 percenters". I also draw inspiration from Kemetic (Ancient Egyptian) sciences and spirituality along with Gnosticism. In my eyes, Islam, Gnosticism and the Kemetic sciences are all one in the same which truly fascinates me.

Anymore you'd like to know just ask. Hope to have some good conversations.
