I saw three books on Amazon Kindle store by a Dr. Md. Anisur Rahman, one titled "Why Quran Alone?" I am curious if anyone is familiar with these books or the author?

no to forget that pigs may eat their own excrement, practice cannibalism, eat trash.... What would be a contaminated animal!

no Offence, but not just pigs do what you mention here... I think we should do more search about pig issue.
pig is animal like just another animal.

Asalamu alaikum Everyone!

"He has only made unlawful for you that which is already dead, and the blood, and the meat of pig, and what was dedicated with to other than Allah. But whoever is forced to, without seeking disobedience or transgression, then there is no sin upon him. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful." (2:173)

I would like to know everyone's opinion on what is the meaning of "Forced to, without seeking disobedience or transgression?"

Does it mean, if some one forces you to eat something forbidden?

Does it mean, if we are starving and the only food around is forbidden and we eat it, then we are not guilty of sin?

Does it mean if we happen to eat something forbidden unknowingly?

All of the above?

I am thinking All of the above, but I may be wrong. Look forward to reading your replies, inshaAllah.

Sorry if this has already been answered, I did a search but didnt see this exact topic.

i just wonder about "meat of pig" issue, why pig  and not other animal?   Maybe it is just not pig and simply it is a bad/decay meat.

I don't know why you do keep posting this , you already did and i already replied to you , if you are convinced by Aidi safar's understanding of fasting and other subject that is up to your mind . Are you his Spokesman ? if you know him tell him to come and discuss it here instead of throwing his website everywhere.

If you have study , knowledge , understanding do post them and we discuss them ,  in the meantime it would be nice if you stop interrupting the thread by Aidi Safar's website link .

You have the freedom to throw them and i have the freedom to tell you to do not .

We know that we have freedom to speak, I'd appreciate  if u stop to talking about me and come to the mean point to understand the "ramadan" issue. I see how much posts u give here, which I do not get anything of it. it is maybe my bad).
About Aid safar i do not know him personally but i did talk with him by e-mail, and i did tell him to enjoy us here on this subject...
hey can you check this for me "asyiyaama"  is it translated as to the night or untill the night ?

then fulfill "asyiyaama" to the night (ila llaili)..." is being mistranslated in mischief by all translators as "...untill the night..."

THEN

when shall we "fast"(if there is any fasting) ?

Please allow me to ask you the following questions: (out of interest)

1- When does Ramadan start this year according to the true calculations?  ( I have seen the date given by Ayman elsewhere in this forum, do you agree with it?)


2- How many days is it going to last?

3- After centuries of wrong timings and calculation,will we ever be "sure"?

Does it really matter? What really matters is the intention. There are so many sects because of trivial arguments over the details how to do certain things. Just follow your intuition and do something that makes sense.

i'll hold on posting in that subject for a while , i am not 100 % of something and better i do not post them

U know I'm not sure either, I was just wondering if Ramadan is a month, then where is the other names of months in Q....
I think  aididsafar has a decent point in saying "ramadan rituals"... maybe not!
